I'd never heard of the brand before, but the drill works like a charm so far. It saved me lots of time and frustration changing between drill bit and driver head. It is well worth the price.

great at first
The product was great at first with the fast switching of the heads. But the batteries dont last hardly at all. I used it alot to put up the frame work of a fence did pretty well would last about a 1 to 1.5 hours of pretty constent use. But after that job the batteries were pretty useless. I have owned the drill for about 2 years and have not used it in 8 or 9 months due to the useless batteries.

great concept
I bought this drill/driver for my fiance for Christmas but, it was just too heavy and big to work with...My fiance wants to send it back....He really liked it until he lifted it....if they could only cut down the size and not make it as bulky, it would be wonderful...

The dual head drill is great. best idea in a long time.
This drill makes it so much easier to do the work. Put a drill bit in one head and a screw bit in the other instead of always changing them after every screw. It'e great and I now have 2 of them at home to make sure there is always one charged and ready to go. It is reall convenient.

Mostly unusable
The mechanism that allows the heads to rotate failed the first time out of the box. I finally got it to rotate but have not been able to since. The mechanism is stuck and cannot be reached without removing the heads. The tool does not do what it is advertized to do.

Great, handy, and strong, drill
I really like the drill with the two chucks. It only has a drawback as it needs a lot of room to work. Not a drill for real tight places (its a little long). The two chucks are exlnt 4 putting up shelves with all that back and forth drilling and screwing. Great online deal as in store 18Volt drills are much more money.

My Dual-100 Drill Assessment
Based on the description and fact gathered from HomeDepot and the internet, I was tempted to try an innovative product like this one even though I could not find a demo unit at the store. So happened my old drill's battery died; with around the same price to replace the battery of my old one, I was curious enough to give this drill a try. It turns out to be my best Christmas present this year.
The twin head makes intermixing drill and screw very convenient and fun as I do not need to change drill and screwdriver bit as often. It should help too when drilling mulitple holes of two different sizes. Using the highest screwdriver setting, I am satisfy with its torque as it can easily screw in very tight wood screws that I cannot tighten with a manual screwdriver.
The first charge of the 18V 1250mAh NiCad battery took a good five hours -- the charger is not a quick charger, need a bit patient when first received the tool. Okay for use at home but for heavy user, may consider a second higher capacity battery and a quick charger (or NiMH battery).
It comes with a decent carrying case, but with slight difference from the HomeDepot site description, it includes three sets of drill bits (3 in each set of Twist for metal, Brad Point for wood chip, and Masonary for concrete), twelve screwdriver bits (3 slots, 6 Philips and 3 Trox/hexagon), and two magnetic screwdriver bit holders. They are a good addition to my accessaries as I do not have some of the varieties in my toolbox.
A minor drawback is the lacking of a drill-hammer so it is not really designed for drilling concrete (even though it includes one set of Masonary drill bits). Since I have another concrete drill, this does not brother me. Overall, I feel it is a good buy for domestic use at an affordable price.

Awsome Time Saver
I originally purchased this drill/driver to install numerous ballasters on a deck. It easily paid for itself as a result of the time saved. No necessity to change the bit at all. The speed that the function can change could not be any quicker. Also the chance of dropping or loosing bits is substainaly reduced. I would suggest purchasing a second battery so no down time is experienced making it possible to use continuously Also it is not as bulky and heavy as other cordless units , making it deriable for lextended overhead use. Buy this tool for function not power. The torque is O.K. but not as good as other heavy duty single bit drovers. I find myself using it often. Overall this tool is a very good value.
