This is the third motion sensor trash can and by far the best! It’s beautiful and much much larger than pictures do it justice. I have a family of 4 and this is the perfect kitchen trash for us

Everything is GREAT the issue is I can't find anything instead of bag for recycling I do recycle alot so I have to empty it out so often other than that is fabulous I did the stickers on top for my toddlers to see where it should go

Love it. Good size side by side trash/recycling. The lid has operated smoothly so far and opens with a wave. Comes in handy when you have a bunch of trash in both hands. It is very sturdy and good weight. Hopefully the motor on the lid last but time will tell. Definitely a good value for the price.

The automatic lid doesn't always work when you're holding garbage and swipe that hand over it, so not helpful when you multitask with both hands full. Also the departments are a little smaller than I expected. Lastly, the plastic pieces that hold the bags in place seem as though they would break easily if the garbage was a heavy load and you tried to pull this plastic piece up with the bag.

This trash bin turned out to be just the right one for us. Our old Eko bin auto feature died and we were surprised (or hadn't thought) there were combo trash/recycling units out there. Guess we don't get out much. We almost went for the MUCH more expensive SimpleHuman $250 version, which looked much better built, but decided to risk it on this one based on lower cost and positive reviews. We had it shipped directly to the house for free knowing if there was any shipping damage (as in some reviews) we could take it back to our store 20 minutes away, but it arrived in perfect condition. After inserting the batteries and turning on, it has performed flawlessly for about two weeks now so I will definitely update this if anything negative develops. We were concerned about the size of the compartments since the one we replaced was a large 15 gallon trash only bin, but it has been a non-issue regarding capacity; we emptied the larger one almost always before it filled up due to aroma ;) The lower profile took a little getting used to, but also a non-issue. Combining the trash and recycled in one bin was a totally new concept for us also, but again maybe we don't get out enough. Our unit came with the decals separate and we chose to put them inside the lid so as to maintain the clean appearance (see photo). The bag retainer rings operated just like our old Eko unit, so no adjustment necessary. The only negatives I would say is the short opening time for the lid compared to our old one, we sometimes get smacked on the hand if we linger too long and have not strategically parked in the sensor field; and the relatively small field of response for the IR sensor, it feels like you have to be directly over it and within about 6-7" away to trigger it. Minor inconveniences and if those are the worst design flaws I'm satisfied at the price point.

Overall I’m pretty happy with it. First of all there are two bins but they’re not removable. You use rings to keep the bags in place in each bin. The lid auto open feature is nice but can be buggy at times but not to bad. I have a toddler so I turn it off when he’s in the kitchen otherwise he wants to open it constantly. It fits 13 gallon tall kitchen bags nicely. Overall nice can and half the price of a simple human one, looks as nice and just as functional.

The style and efficiency that this trashcan provides is exactly what we were looking for.

Great trash can that gets the job done. I haven't had it long enough to see how long the battery lasts but it's not overly sensitive so I like that. I was worried the opening and closing would get annoying.

A bit cumbersome to secure the garbage bag plastic liner each time but otherwise really nice garbage can. Love the split design and do receive quite a bit of compliments on it! Bought nicer aftermarket stickers which really transformed the look.

This trash can not only works and looks great. It’s a real value. By the way it works as a mousetrap. A mouse climbed on it and tripped the sensor and fell in and I was able to take it outside and release the mouse.

Loved this can for a while, but then it started eating through batteries and malfunctioning. I think a trash can for $70 should last more than a year.
