[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire FFTR1821TS refrigerator fit my needs (literally). I needed to quickly replace another unit and there were few models that fit the space and also offered stainless steel finish. I am very pleased with my purchase. I love that the refrigerator is very quiet, and from the outside looks just as nice as any high end model. Inside, the refrigerator has versatile shelving to make efficient use of the space.And this is one of few models in this size that does not have an icemker on the face of the unit. Because I have no plumbing near the refrigerator, I did not want an ice maker. At this price point, I feel that this model offers great value along with the added confidence of the Frigidaire brand name. The biggest negative with this unit is that the freezer has no light. This has greatly affected my late night ice-cream runs. But maybe that should be considered a positive? The stainless steel finish looks great, but is a fingerprint magnet, so you will have to get used to touching just the handles. I had hoped to get a refrigerator with more features, wifi etc, and I was willing to pay more for these, but again, the specific size I needed really limited my choices. This may be a blessing in disguise because I hear those features are the first to break and with a basic fridge like this, I am confident it will provide years of dependable service. I highly recommend this refrigerator for those on a budget or those just looking for a no-frills dependable and attractive fridge.

the design did not even account for a 2liter bottle of soda in the upright position on the door side and in the shelves side. come on, really???? the freezer does not have a shelf divider. poor design, or low quality design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the refrigerator. Perfect size. However, the freezer section doesn't seal well and frosts up, with an a little ice around the edges. Otherwise, it is quite nice and works well. Easy to clean, temperature settings seem to work well. The delivery was professional and quick. They were masked and kept clean the whole time.

Not bad for the price of the unit. I thought the ice maker would be installed with the delivery.

Bought the fridge as a second fridge for the garage. The top 2 shelves are not that strong so you can't put a lot of weight on them but this fridge works great for what I bought it for.

I bought the Frigidaire because it does not have an icemaker which gives more room in the freezer and because it is American made.

I understand that this is a very inexpensive refrigerator, but the quality is terrible. Let me explain: I purchased this refrigerator for a rental property I own. The tenants enjoyed it for about a year, then they moved out and we pulled the plug to save energy. In the two months the house was vacant, the refrigerator stopped working. The light would turn on, but no cold air. I called an appliance repair man and he told me that the compressor was bad. I asked how it cold go bad in such a short time. He explained that they use the cheapest compressor and when you leave it unplugged, the Freon reacts with the internals and causes then to oxidize (rust). I asked if he could repair it. His answer was that it would be better for me to buy a new one. The plastic drawer had a crack (cheap think plastic) and the plastic on the inside of the door had broken and I glued it back together, so it had some damage. So, in two month's time, this refrigerator became unusable. And it was out of warranty, so off it went to the junkman.

Simple to use, easy to install, clean, classic look. Is a little noisy but for the price it is a good value for a kitchen area at work. We need to switch the side the door opens which we have not done yet because it seems a little complicated. We wish we could have had it delivered already done.

The only thing wrong with this is that there isn't a full shelf in the freezer

I have this fridge in the garage and so far it is holding up great. It is nice and roomy, storage is excellent, temperature is steady and the compartments and features make it a nice looking fridge. Vegetables are staying fresh, food is staying cool and freezer is keeping food frozen. The only thing is that the freezer does not have a shelf but a small stand (kind of awkward), but I anticipated this at the time of purchase because I opted not to have the ice maker installed; It does have shelves on the door for extra storage. All in all, a great reasonably priced buy!

I have never heard a refrigerator this loud! The design is very poor and does not lend itself to organization: no shelves in the freezer, no deli drawer in the fridge, weirdly wide shelving on the door that allows for smaller bottles to fall right through. Unfortunately we did not have a say in which refrigerator we got since we are renters and our landlord chose this model. We have scheduled for a replacement unit to be delivered in the hopes that it will not be as freakishly loud.

I bought a unit similar to this 2 1/2 years ago. The unit has quit working twice. The 1 st time was a year after the purchase. The second time was yesterday. I bought the unit as a second refrigerator with the expectation of it lasting 5 to 10 years. Instead of wasting my money on the repair, I'm going to buy a new unit. It will be a GE or Maytag.

This frig is going to go great in our breakroom. color works well with everything.

The black seal for the freezer came apart when the freezer was 6 days old. I called the warranty number, and they had someone out to evaluate it within another week. That guy determined we would just need to get a new refrigerator. But then they sent another tech out who replaced the black molding instead of sending us a new unit. Hopefully the replaced molding will hold - it's only been 3 days.

Lord have mercy on us!! I brought this fridge since it fit in the area in the kitchen. I didn't know u can't stand up a 2 liter in it or put it on the door. The handle to the door broke in my hands 4 times. The shelves on the door are cheap, they break easily too! That 2 liter I talked about managed to break the bottom shelf cause the bottle was chubby! Goodness smh I've only had it for 1 1/2 years and the thing was pouring water from the freezer down into the fridge. I open the door and Lord and behold a bunch of water is all over the place all in my food everywhere!! I've been going nuts since 5 am!! I will never buy another product from frigidare . I did nothing to it and it was maintained accordingly i'm soooooooooo angry!

We needed some extra storage for freezer stuff and drinks. This is a perfect fridge for that.

10 days after purchase, the refrigerator had major problems. And since Home Depot doesn't service the products they sell, it was farmed out to another co. After being on hold for 25 minutes the apt was set for 5 days later. Being without a refrigerator in this day and age iis unacceptable.

This refrigerator model, I am told, has had defective insulation in the doors for at least two years. After the purchase (smooth) and delivery (also, no problem), I discovered ice in the freezer. I looked for and found a gap in the hinge-side gasket, so I called Home Depot to get that taken care of. I was instructed to call the delivery company, which I did. They referred me to the repair company, whom I called. They sent someone to look at it, and both doors were found to be defective. They have ordered new doors from the manufacturer, which have not yet arrived. To say that I am unhappy is an understatement. Home Depot needs to make this right or they need to stop selling the product.

shelving on door wosrt design ever seen, fridge wire shelves also terrible, not one thing I like on this unit, other than the ablity to install gargae kit for low temp use!

This was a great buy for style, color, and size for our first home.

Delivery guys were great. Did not receive phone call as was promised, though. Also no option was given to purchase an icemaker, I looked many times and came to conclusion icemaker came with appliance. So i was charged an extra $30 for icemaker installation even though there was no icemaker. My suggestion is to make sure accesories are shown properly.

I am happy withe the Frig because it is my secondary frig and is in my garage. The Frig works good and has plenty of room; however, I am very glad that it is not my main frig in my house. This frig is kind of loud and I would not recommend it for use in a family's main kitchen.
