Read the reviews it’s true (room temperature drinks)
The drinks all stay at whatever room temperature you may have in your house. I am disappointed. I played with the temperature settings to get it to be cold but it didn’t happen. Also it will frost in the back so you will have to unplug from time to time. I don’t know if I got a faulty one. I was expecting something else and it didn’t meet my expectations. - T

A bit finicky, bit can't beat the compactness
I don't know if it's a desert dweller thing, or we're just thirsty, but our refrigerator is always PACKED TO THE GILLS with drinks. All those beverages take up about 50% of the space; there's no room for food! So we really wanted a separate beverage fridge, to help lighten the load. Thing is, we only have a teeny tiny space in the cabinets to install it. The only model that would have any hope of fitting is the AB-850. It is meant as a standalone, but with some mods to allow for proper ventilation (space in the rear, air holes in the interior walls of the cabinet, and an exhaust fan) we were able to make it work as a built-in. However, it does have trouble maintaining temperature. The lowest we can get it down to is 40F, at the highest setting, and it often rises up to 45 or 50 degrees. The only way we have found to get it down again, it to dial the setting down, and then turn it back up again. It's as if the compressor forgets to turn on, so we have to nudge it. We had the same issues, when before we installed it, when it was just sitting in the middle of the floor, so it's not an air circulation issue. Some more flexibility with the shelf placement would be nice too. We removed one shelf, and the bottom rack entirely, so that format suited out needs. In total, it's a bit finicky, but the compact, and looks really nice. The light is a nice touch too. We use it as a nightlight in the kitchen. And of course, all the space we now have in our full size fridge is pretty amazing.

    I would buy again.
    The temperature sensor went out on my unit while it was under warranty and Newair replaced free. It just went out again and Newair is sending me a brand new unit. My unit is not under warranty now. Best customer service around. That is standing behind you product and customers.

      I would buy again.
      This unit had a bad temperature sensor. I was sent a new sensor while it was under warranty. The sensor failed again so Newair is sending me a new beverage unit at no charge. The greatest customer service around! My unit was no longer under warranty. That is going above and beyond and standing behind your product! Thank you Newair!

        Attractive Unit, Performs Well, Excellent Customer Support
        Purchased in May 2020 for my home studio. Quiet operation. Strongly recommend having plastic tray under unit in case door is left ajar causing condensation to form and leak onto floor which could cause damage. Capacity specs assume tightly packed containers which will reduce air flow and compromise cooling capability, so assume roughly half of maximum capacity for practical use. My unit's interior lamp began flashing in bursts of three which is a trouble code for a failed temperature sensor. Despite being out of warranty by nearly four months, I emailed support@neeair.com, and in just a few hours Newair Support graciously offered to ship me the part free of charge if I wrote a review here. I was planning to do so anyway, so win-win. I reversed door so that its hinges are now on right side, but note that caused logo plate to be upside down. I cut it off with utility knife cutting through adhesive tape and remounted it right side up. Looking forward to having new temperature sensor so I can enjoy cold beverages again.

          Cute fridge for my coffee bar
          Actually had my coffee bar fit around this mini fridge and love not having to go all the way into kitchen for parties and pool time. Their customer service is quick and easy as well.

            Completely stopped cooling at any setting
            I should have bought a higher-quality product. The refrigerator stopped cooling all of a sudden, no matter the setting, after only 5 months of use. I'm requesting a refund from the manufacturer. It looks nice, but it doesn't last. Only buy this if you want to use it as a room temperature storage box for your drinks, not for cooling anything.

              I have only had it maybe a month. It was hard to detect cold setting, until i could hear it click on for the cold setting I wanted. Otherwise it works well, I had to buy an additional 18" cabinet for it to sit on where I placed it for now, I have no counter space left for this to be (haha). Eventually need to reconfigure my kitchen with my counter top stuff. ;o) I chose this model for what I was looking for and price range, holding ample beverages, not to big, not to small for the space I have for it. The stock photo of the fridge looks like it stacks real good cans/bottles but with today's manufacture of all sizes of cans (beer/sodas) and bottles (beer/sodas/water) it will take time for me to rid of what I have stored and replace to fit better in this fridge like it shows in their stock photo. I like it a lot. I am pleased with my purchase. It arrived at Home Depot within the time stated for me to pick up being shipped there.

                A great stylish unit!
                I have been looking at beverage units for a long time and finally pulled the trigger on this one. It's a great sized unit and fits perfectly in my office, the adjustable shelves make it super easy for people like myself that has a lot of 16oz cans as well as 12oz ones. Would 100% purchase again!

                The beverage cooler is exactly as described and shown in pictures. The drinks are perfectly chilled and can even freeze if you have the setting set to lowest temperature. The shelves can be adjusted easily. You can fit up to 90 cans. The motor is a little louder than expected but that doesn’t bother me. The interior light looks good but is either always on or always off. I.e. The light doesn’t turn off when the door is shut. If you plan on flipping the door, the brand emblem on the front will be upside down and the door handle will be at the bottom of the door not at the top. I’m very pleased with this purchase but think the cost should be lower.

                It was delivered good and on time. The actual fridge is bigger than i thought but quite spacious. It holds all my cans. You can set temp. Beverages come out really cool. And i’m also happy that it has energy star tag, which means it is supposed to save energy and environmentally efficient.

                      We love our Newair fridge!
                      We ended up buying this fridge specifically because we had a very unusual space to work with. It fit like a glove and was the only fridge on the market that would fit this space so well. Unfortunately we got a faulty unit that died in 7 months but Newair customer service have been amazing and offered to replace the fridge for us. It isn't too noisy, keeps our beverages really cold and looks sleek. Would definitely buy Newair again.

                        Noisy!
                        We just bought this unit last week. We immediately noticed it makes a loud, growling noise. The noise continues for a couple minutes after the unit's cooling system shuts down but resumes when the unit kicks on again. The noise is loud enough to hear in other rooms of the house. We called NewAir customer service, and they asked us to send them a video of the unit with the sound. They responded saying that sound was normal operation. We will be returning this unit to Home Depot for a refund.
