    Losse Organic Absorbent Material
This is loose absorbent fibrous material that does exactly what it is expected to do. It absorbs liquid well, especially large spills. It is extremely easy to use, just scoop it out of the bucket, sprinkle, pour, or dump on the spill, then clean it by sweeping or showel it into the trash. There are no harsh odors or chemical reactions. The material is safe to be used around pets and children.

    GREAT RESULTS
I was surprised that this product was so lightweight as it came in a large reusable container. It has the consistency of peat moss. I changed the oil in my motorcycle the other day and of course spilled some oil in the process on the garage floor. Just sprinkled some of this and it quickly absorbed the oil. The instructions state if it is a large spill to cover the perimeter first. This product is most effective for new spills and stains. The fact that it's not toxic to humans and animals makes it a no-brainer to use.

Coconut fuzz?? Really sucks! (Sucks-up oil GREAT!)
Interesting stuff. Coconut fuzz ("coir"), processed to make it "thirsty". Long ago we sopped-up spills with sawdust. The sawmills closed and we used kitty-liter, or similar clay products made for oil-spills. I wondered about coconut fuzz. I put my hand in it. It feels nice, much softer than sawdust or clay. And I could feel it suck-up the perspiration on my skin. Then the tractor leaked a cup of oil into a bad pocket. How was I going to mop that out? I threw in a handful of Coco Absorb coconut fuzz and left it. Overnight it absorbed the oil, giving a darker fuzz which I easily scooped-out and disposed of. Looks a bit like fine-ground peat-moss. But the company points out that peat is not a truly renewable resource (takes thousands of years to re-grow). Coconuts grow like weeds, the coconut industry generates tons of fuzz byproduct. Much lighter and nicer than heavy sticky bags of clay-product. Much more absorbent than clay or sawdust. When you pick-up the bucket or bag you may think it is short-weight, but it absorbs many-many times its weight, much more than other absorbers. Easy to scoop, easy to sweep. Apparently meets requirements for landfill. Absorbs most stuff you might spill. Not hazardous (don't rub it into your eyes). The 16L (about 4 gallon) bucket is nicely made, easy to scoop or pour from, and will be useful for other things when I use it up.
