This fit my filter box perfectly(fc100a1037).

Even though this filter large print claims 4” wide, small print (and my ac unit) reveals that it is actually 4 3/8” wide- too wide! Trying to use it destroys it, so $20 later and no useable ac filter.

After I got home and removed the advertisement cover that explains how great it is and how well it is constructed, the pleats were glued and not so spaced evenly. Leaving large gaps between them. Next time I will open the package in the store before purchasing. Buyer beware!

Upgraded from 1 inch filter to this 4" filter and air flow is amazing! Seems to be great quality and should last much longer than the 1 inch. The package says one year but I think I'll change it every 6 months with all the Arizona dust...

Just what I needed. Recent renovations meant the filter needed replaced.

I have used this filter since 2002. I don't think there is any other brand available to us in this area so writing a review seems ridiculous to me. That being said, yes, it's a good filter. It's a whole house filter so no hassel to install. I am in Florida and replace it every 3 months. I am satisfied with the quality and price as well.

I have a brand new Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat heat pump system. This filter is definitely protecting this system and my home by filtering out an exceptional broad range of pollutants. I have been using this style of filter for over a year. I will be replacing this filter every 4 months because of pet hair. So far, this filter has exceeded my expectations.

The size stated in LARGE letters on the package is.... wait... wait... wait... can you believe it? Is NOT the actual size and therefore does NOT fit my unit. What is a company thinking to actually state the wrong size of filter on the package and then to put the actual size in quite small letters somewhere else on the package.

I like that I only really have to change this once per year. A deal at $30! I changed it this time after 10 months, and the filter that I replaced (same brand) had obviously done a great job of trapping dirt and dander, but I was waking up a bit stuffy in the mornings. After putting the new one in, I could tell the difference in the air quality in the house the next day. We have a Golden Retriever and a long-haired cat. This filter fills all the gaps around the insertion area, unlike some of the cheap filters. I have never found a cheap one that isn't made just a tad too small to be effective.

I've used Honeywell filters for my a/c since it was installed. I do like that it filters out a lot of dust and dirt--by the looks of the filter when it's time to change it. As with most a/c filters the construction of it makes it easy to be crushed or damaged. I wish I had the choice of buying an upgrade/better filter from Honeywell. This filter usually lasts 5-6 months before my system tells me it's time for a new one. Overall, this is a good filter to use and I will keep buying them.

We raise Labradors (10+) and this filter allows them to have their own living room inside our home without sacrificing air quality or getting dog hair from that many labs and ruining the condenser. We buy one every 2 months, but under normal use they'd last much longer. Using them over 1 year.

This product fits our Ruud AC unit perfectly, unlike many other brands.

If you have a Honeywell Electronic air filter that doesn't work anymore, this is a great replacement for the metal array inside. Exact fit. You only need to take out one screw on the bottom where this filter slides. I'm continuing to use the pre-screens to filter large stuff. Better yet, this is a MERV 12 filter which is very high efficiency. It's probably better than when the electronic filter worked.

After spending FOREVER trying to hunt down information on fixing my 25 year old Honeywell Electronic Air Cleaner F50 and after being repeatedly told in the past (before it failed) by my HVAC technicians that I should pay them to remove and replace the working system with one of the newer allergen air filters, I suddenly realized that this FPR 10 Air Cleaner Filter is (possibly unintentionally) designed to be an exact fit to replace the two electronic cells in the F50 unit. I merely had to buy the filter, unplug the unit, open the front cover, pull the two cells out, use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the small cell-guide located in the middle of the bottom track, insert the new filter, and put the front cover back on. Apart from the trip to the store, this was a 10 minute job. The repair of the electronic unit would have been about $150 (after 4-5 hours of troubleshooting) plus another 2 hours of repair time. I think this was a good deal. Sorry it took so long to figure it out, though.

My wife is allergic to most pollens and dust so I wanted a good filter with a high Merv rating. The filter fits perfect in my Trane HVAC unit and best of all my wife is breathing easier. Thank you Home Depot.

We upgraded to a high efficiency heater / AC 2 years ago and really reduced costs while improving performance and air quality. I change this filter once a year and I'm always pleasantly surprised at the amount of dirt/dust/etc this filter traps. Highly recommend it.

Have not had to relace filter yet.

The filter fit perfectly in my furnace and is working as expected. This was the only filter I could find that had the ratings I was looking for with pet hair and dust that was not highly restrictive. I will be buying this one as long its available.
