Very satisfied with product
It was easy to install. As expected it will hold the the Ladder and wood. My advise is when you install it make sure the part is in the right direction. See where it says "UP". Also use a stud finder to help you find where are the studs.

Durable and sturdy rack
I bought this rack to store skis and snowboards. It was really easy to assemble and install in my garage. It probably took me about 15 minutes to do it all. The rack holds three snowboards (one without bindings) and four sets of skis.

excellent product for the money
I have a new garage and needed extra storage so I purchased 4 of these wall mount racks. The directs are old and indicate 3 screws are used to mount to the wall, when there are only 2 holes precut, also there were only 2 screws were included. That was fine and could be figured out easily. However, 2 of the 4 did not have all the required nylon lock nuts and washers, these 2 packages only had 4 of needed 6. Luckily I had some matching nylon lock nuts and could finish the project without another trip to the store. But overall, I like the product and would purchase more if needed.

VERY STURDY! We have had quite a problem with storage of lumber in our garage. It takes up SO much room, and looks unsightly, not to mention not being able to park our cars in there. This absolutely solved this problem.

So I agree with other reviews in that the instructions are wrong. If you follow the way it shows you to install the racks, the shelves themselves would be angled down. Luckily, there is a "TOP" stamped on the brackets themselves. So I ignored the instructions and just used common sense. I also ditched the provided lag bolts since only approx 1" of them would be biting into the stud after going through sheet rock. If you are going directly onto wood studs, the bolts would probably work. Company needs to fix their directions and provide longer bolts. Outside of that, they are working great.

    Love these
These were the perfect size to mount above the double doors in my wood shop to store lumber. I have ten foot ceilings. They turn up on the end to provide some protection to keep the lumber from sliding off. I mounted mine 16 inch on center into the studs across an 18 ft wall and loaded it up with hardwood: rock maple, red oak, walnut and some exotics. The arms didn't flex at all. I did have to put up 3/8 inch plywood shelving first in order to straighten the arms so they would all line up at 90 degrees to the wall. Great product. I will be installing more on an opposite wall for shorter lengths of hardwood.I used the three eights inch material which you can drive a screw through underneath each arm to bring the arms into alignment.

      Organized lumber in the garage
I bought two sets and mounted 32" apart. This addressed organizing miscellaneous boards in the garage. It fit my need PERFECTLY. Note, I purchased lag bolts an inch longer than those supplied to handle the weight of the lumber. The brackets are very sturdy.

        Poor design and fabrication
These shelf brackets are of poor design and fabrication. The design wastes 4" of space nearest the wall with the cheap 'z' sheet metal mounts, pushing the 16" support bar out to 20" from the wall. The worst flaw though is that the mounts don't come out straight from the wall but at a very noticeable and not correctable sideways angle. The bending of the mounting flange was insufficient and I didn't feel it worth the effort to re-bend all 6 (3 pair) of brackets I purchased.

        Great Purchase that back fired!
unfortunately, it was too much for the walls in my apartment building. I am trying to find a ride to take it back to Home Depot. I had good intentions for the Storage rack, but the maintenance man said it would be too much too install. The screws would go thru the walls.

        Weak
Racks are just ok. Pain to put together was looking for an easy pre made rack system with some strength. These are not them. Racks wobble and feel cheap and not much strength behind them.

This product is not what you would think. It is not heavy duty as advertised. Read carefully it is not what you would think.
For starters it is not heavy duty like it implies. The weight rating is for a pair of shelves. They come in pairs so don't double your order. The rating say 150 pounds per teir but its per shelf and good luck with that. The shelves, if assembled as show, will lean out and send the weight to the end of the shelf tip, weakening the shelves load capability. If you flip it they will lean in or back slightly but not that bad. I like my shelves to be level. Either way I would not recommend them for anything heavy. Truly I would not recommend them at ALL!!
