This was a good lamp while it lasted but it broke down after one year plus of very careful use. The company has a two-year warranty on it but the company (OttLite) is difficult to deal with. Customer service people there have very poor attitudes. Also, the replacement tubes are not easy to find and there is considerable confusion over bulb types and model numbers. If you want something that may only work for a year or so, then this may work out well for you. Otherwise, you may wish to think carefully about purchasing this item.

This was a gift for my grandson. I ordered it for a Xmas gift and it was about a week before. The original delivery date was after Xmas, but it got here 2 days before!.

This clamp light works so well that when our first one wore out that we purchased years ago from a local office store but was no longer sold by them, we were so excited to find it located at Home Depot. It takes up no space and offers all the high-end qualities you need when working at a workspace that needs proper lighting, but does not need to take up table top working space.

This lamp was for a special installation. Once the work was done the lamp was plugged in and turned on and all the smoke escaped from the ballast. That is never good. Since the unit where this was installed was built to accommodate this lamp a different lamp was not really an option so we took a chance on a second one and it has been working fine.

These clamp-on lamps are fantastic. A bit expensive, but they are very high quality. No more headaches when reading, at night.
