Probably the most most important clamp in my workbench whenever I need one of my project to stay where it need to I can count on this clamp

These are very handy to have if you are setup for them!

All one needs is a series of holes in your work table and this clamp can be dropped into the appropriate hole . It needs no adjustments and you have a great stabilizer of the project for planning, sanding, assembling,gluing, etc. No tedious adjustments needed, just drop off t in the hole and you’re ready!

Purchased 2 years ago. A great value. Holds tight and releases easily.

I use this all the time, and can drill a new hole in my benchtop whenever needed to locate the clamp in a new position. It can give great downward force, but I've glued a small piece of leather on the contact surface, and so it never mars the work piece.

I didn't realize how useful this thing was until I saw some videos of people using them and then the lightbulb went on. They provide a strong hold with minimal force and then are easy to release. Take a look at some videos and you will agree that this thing is fantastic. I bought one and haven't looked back. You can use it in so many circumstances that you're only limited by your imagination. They hold horizontally or vertically, can be moved wherever you have an appropriate hole in your bench, and provide an incredible amount of holding force. Buy one - you won't be sorry.

Bought 2 of these to use for my new custom-built woodworking bench. These hold-downs are simple and durable just like I wanted. Very happy with my purchase.

These kinds of clamps have been around for decades and yet, still, find a front-line role to play in any modern shop. I rely on them (bought 2) frequently and have never been disappointed.

I received a pair of the Jorgenson 16" holdfast. One broke as soon as I tested it the other won't hold in my bench. Top is 3 7/8" thick.

Very good product, well made, made to last. Rather expensive, but will last a lifetime.

received as a gift set of workbench, hold downs, vise and stops. finish is excellent for high humidity conditions. one year in open air Fl shop with no rust. ridges on hold face may mark soft woods if woodworker is heavy handed hammering it in. Value is good to excellent. was impressed with its holding ability, reach is adequate but not generous. would like same clamp without finish for my anvil work.
