I bought for my wife who is disabled she uses this to get in and out of shower.I was skeptical at first but it does the job.

The quality is great but I rated this low TO GRAB YOUR ATTENTION! The on-line description/specifications mentions nothing about surfaces it will not mount on and the package states it will mount on ANY non-porous surface. They do not state that it needs to be perfectly flat & smooth. I know common sense dictates that it should be smooth. Our surface was only very slightly wavy with very shallow waves & very smooth. Many suction cups stick to it but not this one. I cleaned the surface very well and even wet the cups. I am sure it will work great on perfectly flat, smooth surfaces but if you have even a slight waviness at all don’t try it. Buy the screw or bolt on type.

I purchased this grab bar to provide me with security in the shower, following my recent hip replacement surgery. VERY easy to install and there's no question that it is securely mounted with the handy "green" indicator. Now that my recovery is complete, I'm keeping it mounted in my shower to give me that extra feeling of a totally secure place to grab, if the need ever arises. A GREAT PRODUCT!!

Works great -- Specs say it's for balance support, not full weight, but it is a very strong attachment (to a smooth surface). Simple to install and uninstall -- no damage to walls. Selected this one because of the red/green indicators showing if the suction grip is good or not.
