I put this on my lawn when it was wet and it didn’t have rain for several days. So far all I did was feed the weeds. A weed with yellow flowers has spread all over my yard. It did kill some weeds. I won’t buy it again, it is to over priced for it not to work like it did. Very disappointed.

I brought two bags of the triple action for my lawns and instead of killing the weeds, it killed my grass and the weeds are still there! Lord Jesus, I just wanted a green and healthy lawn but now it’s brown in the spring my heart is hurt.

I have used the Scotts Weed and Feed product as well the spray on. The dandelions are gone. The grass is green. However ther is one weed that appears to love the treatments. Only a few seen a few years ago. Now they seem to grow ecponentionaly. I see the same weed on a review from Mrs. A four days ago. Enclosed is my photo of the weed. I just mowed and saw how bad the weed problem is. Purchased more Scotts Weed and feed and not sure I should apply. Any thoughts on the weed and a treatment?

I applied the Scott’s weed and feed exactly like the instructions said and it did not work at all. I don’t think it killed one weed. I use different kinds every year and this is the worst EVER!

I used this 10 days ago....my weeds are thriving....!!!! When will they be gone????? This product doesn't do what it says.....I'm very disappointed...

I bought this product a month ago and weeds are thriving. They are alive and healthy.. no signs that the weeds are dying. Applied to wet grass as it says x 2 about 1 week apart .

After meticulously overseeding and fixing issues with our patchy lawn throughout early fall, I waited patiently to apply Scott’s Weed & Feed after the 4th mow. Within days, the luscious green was dulled and now there are brown patches throughout the lawn. Some weeds are shriveled, many are unaffected.

I have used this product before and it has worked very well for me. The bag I opened today had wet clumpy fertilizer inside. There’s no way it will spread with my Scott’s rotary spreader.

I have been using the Weed and Feed products on my lawn for several years. My lawn has looked great! Prior to applying this the lawn was lush with some weeds but nothing out of control. Within a week my lawn was burnt, and now a month later I’m battling weeds and trying to fix batches of no grass! No happy!!

I used Scott’s weed and feed on my lawn as directed. Applied the next morning after a heavy rain storm, using my Scott’s spreader. OMG, this stuff not only burned the weeds but also burned my grass. See the photo, it left patches of brown spots where grass used to grow. I am not happy at all that it took out my grass!

Product brought my lawn back to life in 4 weeks! Highly recommend this!

I put Scott’s Weed and Feed 2x on my new lawn to control some dandelions and clover and it ruined my yard. I used a Scott’s Rotary Spreader on the recommended setting and within a week my yard started to decline. Despite heavy rains here and constant watering I’m now left with having to reseed.

Killed my lawn horribly !! Used this product in summertime.

Was skeptical that the weed and feed would work. Applied to front yard to check it out before doing all of 2 acres. Surprised at how well it did work. Will be doing rest of yard. Can hardly believe our eyes.

I have always trusted Scott’s products and still do. I am a little disappointed in the amount of coverage I was able to achieve. I recently bought a new house and wanted to start my new yard off right. My total lot is 16K for sq/ft and I bought a 12K bag. Also on a side note the price of Scott’s vs a private label had me questioning which one to use. Thinking it would cover most if not all do to buildings and driveway. I ended up running out and buying another 4K bag to try and finish. Again more money! The setting on the bag was 7.25 for a drop spreader. So after I was done I thought I must have done something wrong. I check the calibration on the Scott’s drop spreader, all good. Then I read online how to apply and came across the setting of 5 for a drop spreader. Wait this differed to what the bag said at 7.25. This would make sense as to why I ran out. When comparing these two setting it has you using 45% more product. Next time I am going to measure a smaller area of my yard and double check the rate at which it is being applied is accurate. Scott’s, please check your settings and make sure they are correct. I used half again as much product as I was supposed to and I hope I don’t have adverse effects.

I used this product 6 weeks ago. Trying to get rid of clover. Seemed to enhance the clover and killed nothing. Burned my grass and now I have weeds and clover

I have many friends who use product and the majority of them apply it in late April. Its not going to work since weeds are not actively growing and the temperature is not 60-90 degrees in the northeast. Pay attention to the detail in terms of "how and when to apply" When used in accoradnce to the directions the product works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder does exactly what it promises. I’ve used this many times over the years to keep my yard hopefully weed free. Ensure you read and understand the directions. It states it will kill 57 different weeds. The area to be covered MUST be wet before any application. I had to use the garden hose to wet the required area. I used the Elite spreader which is set at 4.5 setting. Walk in a steady speed during the process. As usual, I had no issues to worry about. Great Product if used CORRECTLY.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No weeds and green lawn! This product has delivered great results, i was cutting the grass twice a week due to rapid growth. There are no weeds to speak of in the yard. The only thing slowing this fertilizer down is the fact that it hasnt rained in my area for weeks. I would definitely use this again, no burned spots and fast growth.

This product is terrible. My lawn was green. Then I applied the spring turf builder after rain as the instructions using the Scott’s spreader. My lawn turned orange, then yellow . Now mainly dead . I never used a turf builder on lawns in my life and never had a problem. Many people recommended this , so I tried it. Terrible! Now I will have to have the lawn reseeded in the fall. I will not use this product.

Applied as the per the directions. Some of the dandelions are withering others are not. I have used this product for 10+ years. With great results. I purchased 12 of the 32 oz. liquid spray bottles I have an acre to spray. I don't know what Scott's did to their formula but it has changed and is less effective than previous if at all. I just wasted a ton of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have been using scotts on my lawn in the northeast for the past 6 plus years, on schedule like clock work 4 times a year. since last year i have been noticing the weeds are not being knocked back by the applications dispite following application instructions to the T. just applied this on saturday (4 days ago) there was one dandelion in am monitoring that has shown zero sign of wilt. i have every year resorted to using spray applications to control my weeds. starting to question my choice of weed control with these scotts products
