Works well, relatively easy to install and configure.

Love the ability to set from dusk to dawn. Many other setting options as well. The programing automatically adjusts for the lighting of the season, so once set it is 100% hands free. I have 4 in service with 1 more planned in the near future. A+++

The timer does a decent job once you are able to figure out the inadequate programming instructions. I had to go to the support site and have a tech lead me through the routine. The programming screen is small and some of the icons on it are not very visible.

Had the unit about 18 months when the battery went dead. The battery cannot be replaced. Unfortunately it only has a 12 month warranty. Also, the programming instructions are not as clear as they should be.

I would rate the final performance of the produce as 5-Star. However, because of the 5-days of struggling to program the switch properly, I would Rate it as 2-Stars. Finally, only after the second call to Intermatic Customer Service, was I given adequate instructions on how to activate the dusk to dawn program into the timer and finally have it function correctly. The written instructions were obviously written by someone completely familiar with how the timer worked and NOT from the perspective of a homeowner who knew nothing about how the timer was supposed to work. The wiring instructions were clear and easy. As were the setting of the date, local time, sunset and sunrise times, adjust the dawn and dust times to my actual local times and daylight savings option. The instructions on how to make the timer function to function to the dusk to dawn settings were woefully insufficient. The timer was initially delivered to my local Home Depot store damaged, and a second replacement order was automatically made by the local staff. This is not the first time I've had products ordered for delivery to mylocal store that were damaged upon arrival. For this reason, I would suggest products be delivered to your local HD rather than to your home, and inspect the produce carefully prior to leaving the store with it.

Replaced a similar Utilitech unit purchased at Lowes. Seems to be slightly better made version and was easy to set up time, program, etc. prior to installing in existing box. Time will tell how long this one will last as the Utilitech was fine until the hardwired, non-replaceable NiMh backup battery went bad and would not hold the time after a power outage.

Was able to install without any difficulties. I had to call support to program the "dusk to dawn" feature because I did not take the time to completely read the instructions. It won't fit in shallow boxes & you need a neutral wire.

Works well. Easy to program, easy to update.

It does not come on and go off as it should at dawn and sunset although all the times and days are correct. ItT even displays the sunset and sunrise times.

Difficult to program, but performs well.

It was hard for me to set up the sunrise-sunset but otherwise easy to install if your outlet has all the wires. Also it’s a deep switch you have to make sure you have room with all the wires.

This control does what I want to. And the price was right. However, the small readout window makes it hard to see and program. Had to get out a magnifying glass to finally get it programed right

The product probably would have worked had the programming instructions been clear. As it was, after trying for two days to program the device I gave up and bought a competitors timer and within 10 minutes of installing that device, it was programmed and has worked flawlessly. And I didn't even return the Intermatic timer. I tossed it into the recycle bin. That's how disappointed I was with the product.

You must accept that there is a trade off in that its tiny so fits in the wall switch space, means programming is confusing, tricky,once right it works great. You still have to reset the time for DST of course as its not internet or bluetooth connected. Which is good or bad depending. Great for me

This timer doesn't work---it doesn't turn on at sundown and doesn't turn off at sunrise even though I called Customer Service and had tech support walk me through the set-up process. I think that this particular timer is defective.

Why didn’t I find these years ago? Absolutely love them, easy to install, setup, and work wonderfully.

Ended up not purchasing by returning item to store when I found out a Neutral wire was required for installation. Ad and product description should have been clearer.

This is a very good timer. I am using it for a fountain pump. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is that the directions could be clearer and the readout is very small and hard to read. Like others have said, it requires an extra deep box if other wires are present. Love the fact you can program unit and then override completely or just one setting and then the auto resumes at next programmed setting. I have mine programmed to turn on and off two times daily.

Unit didn't work. Wouldn't even turn on light manually. Returned and bought another brand which works great.

This timer is too hard to program. It keeps going back to "base" during the programming process.

Easy to install ... after I got electrician's help finding the correct load and neutral wires. Programming directions require multiple readings to get the gist. Once programmed, the timer automatically accommodates for DLS-to-ST, gradually adjusts for sunset time. Just what I needed. Changing time settings is a breeze compared to older timers. As directions state, owner needs to locate all FOUR wires before installing.

Purchased to turn-on outside light by entrance door. On at dusk, off at bed-time. Programming requires some care, but this is the third one of these I have installed. The only caution is that it is difficult to physically fit this device in a standard 2" deep wall case. Consider a double or a deep box.

Good product. Does not require battery as my previous in wall timer did.

This is a good and reliable product. The only issue I had were the setup instructions are not clear and I had to call the company for instructions. They were able to help me with the setup.
