DANGEROUS! Roto-lock doesn't hold. While using a wire wheel, the handle will slip to the next position on its own, giving you only partial control. Very scary to use. It's a poorly designed product. Do the safe thing and buy a solid handle grinder!! Also, ( my fault-"didn't check" )it was made in CHINA. I thought Milwaukee would have been built in the USA.

special ordered grinder because online description stated variable speed control. item returned upon receipt because speed was too fast for purpose with no speed control. Spoke with milwaukee representative before and after purchase and he assured me the advertised specifications would be corrected. since then he has guided me to a different solution and i am pleased with my purchase of a Milwaukee variable speed cordless polisher.

The grinder is great!! But the courier left it outside my front door!! Lucky somebody didn’t walk off with it!!

The roto-lok handle is is a must have to facilitate comfortable use of the grinder. The versatility of having both 7 & 9" capability increases the usefulness of the tool.

I use this grinder with the 7" buffing pad for auto detailing. It has the torque need to use in bursts for heavy compound work and also the finesse to use to wax. I do not recommend for the novice buffer, this thing will eat some paint up in a hurry if you don't know what you are doing.
