SOLID — The Honey-Can-Do 14 in. x 36 in. Steel Shelf in Chrome is a high quality addition to a wire shelving unit. From the photo, one can see the quality and structural strength of the Honey-Can-Do shelf (left) vs. the Brand X shelf. The shelving clips on the Honey-Can-Do shelf are also of high quality. The structure together with the spacing and thick gauge of the wires demonstrate why the Hone-Can-Do shelf has a capacity of 800 lbs. Wow! It fits a brand X unit and probably most any wire shelving unit with equivalent dimensions. It is a great way to add additional storage to a wire shelving unit.

This chrome plated steel shelf from Honey Can Do is a great addition to add storage space, The shelf works with any 14 inch wide by 36 inch long shelving unit from Honey Can Do and comes complete with the plastic clips needed to hold shelf in place. I added this shelf to a 54 inch tall four shelf chrome shelving unit in my basement to store tools and accessories.

Great! Fit my other chrome shelving perfectly.

We already had the chrome 14” by 36” shelf system in use for storage in our basement. So with this added shelf, I was able to add some extra storage space by simply adjusting the placement of our existing shelves on the shelving unit we already had. I like these shelving systems, esp3cially the chrome versions wither better resistance to rusting. I highly recommend these for any storage needs. We have several of these units.

Sometimes when you buy a complete shelf it would fit the application better to have an extra shelf. But as things go, one just assembles it with the way it comes in the package and start using it. I happen to have to move mine to a new part of the room and took the opportunity to re-assemble it by moving a couple of the existing shelves a little closer together and adding the extra shelf. Now I get more use out of it. From now on, I shall wait to determine if I can use closer spaced shelves, and order the extra(s) and put it together from the get go. It might just be worth the wait.

Fit an existing unit perfectly, allowing more storage. I was not able to find anywhere else. Shipping box was oversized and damaged, but shelf survived.
