Very strong, easy to set up..for me, the only improvement would be if it had rollers on it that had a lock. I had to move it several times and it just would have made it easier.

Very sturdy frame. Very easy to assemble. Was missing a screw, but I had one lying around that fit, so that was ok.

If you're done messing around with box springs, this is the way to go. Very stable. Fit inside my bed frame. But if no bed frame, you can store things underneath such as totes and what not. Depending on your mattress and your choice of firmness, you may want to invest in a pillow top. We already had one, so it fits us well. Does not slide and move around much, which is great.

I have a solid maple bed that the slat holders had collapsed on. So I needed a frame underneath that would fit within this wooden frame and this fit perfectly--unlike a standard steel bedframe. It was relatively simple to put together--and not too heavy. All I can say after having it for a couple of weeks is so far so good. It does have center legs on both sides at the edges that you have to watch your feet around. I might wrap them in some foam to avoid stubbing a toe. You definitely do NOT want to use your boxspring with this. Would be too high. Just lay the mattress on it and it will be a standard bed height. My picture is of this frame with the mattress lifted up on the corner to show how it fits within the wooden frame.

I initially purchased this bed frame for my friend who weighs more than 400 lbs based on the specs that stated it supported up to 1000 lbs. He has had no issues with it and says the support is great. Not only does it look great but we now have his bed off of the ground which makes it easier for him to get in and out of bed and there is a large amount of storage underneath. It was very easy to put together.

Eliminating a box spring saves a great deal of money. But, a booklet attached to my new mattress stated that the warranty would be null & void if the spaces between the supports of a platform frame are wider than 2". I certainly don't want the coils of my expensive new inner spring mattress to come popping out the bottom! So, we purchased two sheets of thin pressed fiber board (Masonite) & had Home Depot cut to size (2 pieces to fit the king size bedframe). To keep that board in place, we taped the two pieces together down the center & also taped the Masonite to the frame in a few places. That works just fine and satisfies the conditions of the warranty on the mattress. (This would not be a problem with foam mattresses.) A wonderful advantage of this platform is the storage space under the bed. I used to have 4 under-the-bed storage boxes under my king size bed. Even with the diagonal supports under this frame, you can fit TWELVE under-the-bed bins (35" x 18" x 6"). I now have TEN bins underneath because the legs of our night tables next to the bed make it difficult to pull out the bin that is near the head of the bed on each side. For items not used very often, that space is available. Ten under-the-bed storage bins (35" x 18" x 6") provide a GREAT DEAL of storage space for bed linens, out-of-season clothing, gift wrap & supplies, sewing supplies, tablecloths & placemats, bathroom towels, toys, or whatever. My 13" bed skirt covers the frame and reaches the floor carpeting and hides all that is underneath. I recommend this metal platform bed frame. It's easy to assemble and sturdy. The height of the bed is exactly what it was when we had a box spring under our old mattress.

It took longer to open the packaging it came in than to put it together. I can't tell the differance from sleeping on this or a box spring, plus it is less expensive than a box spring. I put a bed skirt on and you cannot tell it is different from a traditional bed. I seriously might never buy a boxspring set again now that I found this product.

This product has more than met our needs! We are able to store some of our things neatly, out of sight and they dog loves it! she can tunnel under for the other side of the bed! Since we are a larger couple, the weight is not a problem! Love it!

Super easy to asseble. BUT: I didn't realize I should measure how high it is from the ground. With my already-small 2-in boxspring and big thick mattress I tip-toe up my bed and I'm tall. So, basically, consider its height and your boxspring+mattress to see if you're okay with that. Wish it had leg height adjustments but guess that wouldn't allow for its 1200-lb weight capacity. I do feel secure in it especially since my mattress is very heavy. Might remove boxspring in the near future. You might like the height from the ground for extra storage, plus with a regular mattress only might be fine.

No issues after one month. Easy setup. Plenty of space underneath. Stands up to the horizontal bop.
