I gave this mower five stars because it does an excellent job. I have aprox. 650 sq. ft. to cut. This mower does just great. Now, if you have a large yard, corded may not be the way to go. You do have to work out a pattern to eliminate issues with the cord. At least watch out for it. This mower is light. I can actually push it with one hand if I need to guide the cord around anything. My yard is level, that might contribute to the ease. It does not come with a catcher. I didn't need one since I like to mulch. Mower does a great job with that! Love the different levels of height, easy to adjust. Putting the mower together was a snap. My vacuum is louder than this mower. Handle folds down for easy storage. I had to order online, took 4 days to get. Not bad. Negatives you read about not mulching, hard to maneuver, not cutting, etc, I did not experience. To each it's own! I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this to mow a steep, uneven hill roughly 70 feet wide with an 8-10 foot drop. The hill is a mix of weeds and fescue. Using a regular, heavy push mower was killing me. This little guy has saved me much pain and exhaustion, and I don't worry about the mower pulling me down or my mistepping while trying to maneuver a heavier mower. I can control it with one hand when I need the other for balance. (Power control handle is on right side) It is easy to push or pull up and down an incline. Because it is small, and really only cuts about a 10" wide path, it takes me twice as long to cut the area, but I don't care because when I'm done I'm not completely worn out. It does leave a blade of grass here and there, but that's not a problem for me. I can tell that it will be slow going if I neglect mowing for a week, or if there's extra rain and the grass gets really tall and thick. The cord isn't a problem once you come up with a system of leaving the extra in the sections you've already mowed. I do have to stop and unplug it to move it around trees, but that's okay because it gives me a chance to take a quick break and grab some water. Overall, I'm VERY happy with this tiny mower.

I love it! I have a very small yard and this mower is perfect. Cuts my tall fescue grass evenly perfect. Best decision I made thus far for my yard.

Eight amps is not a super-powerful motor, so if your grass or weeds are thick/high you will need to cut at least twice. I recommend this machine for small properties and when you don't have a safe place to store a machine with a gas tank and spare gas. It's not nearly as loud as a gas powered mower. It's light weight, so it's easy to push, manipulate, carry. Steep spots were harder for me, but do-able. Better to do steep areas laterally than up and down, if possible. Of course, you need a long extension cord that handles easily. And you need to develop a system to keep it out of the way, i.e. keeping it to the side already mowed. The height adjustment is very easy and there are a lot of options for height. I purchased my house in September and have only mowed twice. The first mowing was high and thick. The second was easier and I cut the grass short for winter.

I needed to have a small mower to use for only 180 sq. ft. of grass. I am an amputee still learning to walk, so wife used it fist. PLEASE teach anyone to keep cord away. She ran over the cord and couldn't understand why it stopped working. But did the job. I had 6+ in of St. Augustine that was very thick and push mower couldn't get it done. This did very well for the small space needed. I would say if you have 800 sg. ft or more, this is a perfect machine.malne19

I have never owned a mower before, and for a female under 130 pounds and over 65, this little mower works very well on a formerly overgrown and rather uneven lawn. A serious review said I could use a 14 gauge cord safely. Only complaint - cord comes unplugged easily. Good mower!

Very lightweight, good for thin or low grass, bogs down in moderate to tall grass. easy assembly.....works for what we need...and no gas or oil.

Perfect size for small yards and tidying up curb areas. Lightweight, easy to maneuver. Effective in cutting overgrown weeds and tall grass. Had some issues installing handles that kept coming off during use but problem was fixed by tightening screws. Great purchase.

The mower was easy to assemble and for the small lawn we have it will work but one has to move several times over grass to cut it right. The mower (also corded) we had before was able to do the same job with ease.

Put on the handle, plugged it in and cut the grass. Perfect for our small yard areas with a 50ft. cord Fits under the boat trailer and light weight made it easy to move to terraced areas so no string trimmer needed.Spreads clippings nicely, cuts evenly. I hope it will last a long time.

Easy to assemble in ten minutes without reading how. This is a small, lightweight mower that’s perfect for me to trim the yard while my wife does the major mowing with a much larger riding mower. We start the yard together and finish at the same time 30 minutes later. Important in the hot South Carolina summers!
