It's amazing how bright these lights are. I love the white light. Looks like the sun is always shining in my kitchen, even on dark dreary days. These lights are a great mood lifter.

Do the math...4 pack for 49.88 is UNDER $13 per bulb. I've put LED' s in lots of places in my house where we use light the most. Electric bills have gone down. CFL's are a waste of time. Go LED.

The previous reviewer said it hurt their eyes when looking at a bright light bulb.... really?!! Try looking at the sun. Home depot mistakenly mislabeled these bulbs at the store and I bought 10 of em for $16 a piece. It's the cheapest price for a 13.5 watt, 5000k, 950 lumens LED bulb. Light is very bright, brighter than "soft white" at the same values. Works well with dimmers and I love the way it looks, the round light in the bulb. I wish I could find more of them for the price. Although one person on Amazon mentioned they had a couple of these burn out, not sure under what conditions though.

This bulb hurts the eyes if pointed down. I purchased 5 bulbs total 18 months ago and 2 are already blown. 5 year lasting, I do not think so. I also paid almost $20.00 per bulb.
