I have had this can for 9 plus months now. It opens 20 plus times every day. Not a problem yet. I cook a lot so its important to me to have a ni touch can that operates like it should. It most definitely does that. Don't even bother to try the essential brand at the other store. They aren't worth bringing home. Im glad the home depot does their homework on products before selling them. Im loving that big Ole orange store.

The lid quit working the first week. Called 1-800 # and no call back. Returned to Home Depot

Excellent device for trash and garbage disposal. It contains odors and it's opening mechanism operates efficiently. I did purchase the plugin attachment to eliminate battery use. I do think the cost overall is somewhat expensive. If this unit continues to perform it will be worth the money.

Sturdy, works as described, and fits well into the corner space for which I bought it.

This is the greatest product. Not only does it open and close without touching it also keeps odors locked in. I bought it because of it being touch less and now my favorite part is the charcoal filter. Highly recommend this product

Very disappointed in this product half the time it doesn't work we have to close the trash can by hand I wouldn't recommend it I would rather have the one you use your foot to open the garbage can.

Lid not working after 2months ,l have called many time to company but not any respanse.

Exactly what I wanted and works great. It creates a little more robust sound when closing, but I know it is closed and is not an issue.

Very convenient and the bag stays in place. Would definitely recommend!!

I love this trashcan it’s very good but do not buy cheap batteries because it run out too quick so you have to stay with batteries that like Duracell because that’s the best one to buy and they don’t tell you that when you get it.

Perfect shape, easy to use, lid stays open long enough, much better than our previous one.

It looks and works great! I’m glad I got the bigger one. Any smaller would have been too small. I’ve had a couple battery operated trash cans like this and they’d work for awhile but fail to open within a year or two. I hope this one lasts, because its the most expensive and I love not going though batteries.

Brand new and inner plastic ring does not sit flat against container. Tried 2 sets of batteries and lid would not open. Site says it uses 4 D batteries but it actually take 4 C. I will be returning this.

the lid doesn't open very far anymore and I have it plugged in, not on batteries. this is only after about 12 months of use.
