Used only once, never again! Product locks but as soon as impacting starts it WILL release whatever you have in the "lock"!!! Lost a fairly expensive drill bit going into a hollow space! Now I've contacted Milwaukee about it to have no response in return! Go with another brand, whatever you do don't get this overpriced tool!

I cant outright give it a 5 since i havent used it...this review is in response to the mention of how the allen key is an off size...just for the record...it has the same size allen key as the milwaukee dozer sets.

I used this to extend the reach of a 1 1/8 inch ship auger bit to install 3/4 inch rigid conduit in a garage. The ship auger bit was held very tightly and had minimal wobble, allowing me to keep the holes lined up to easily install the conduit. The QUIK-LOK worked great to keep the auger bit where it is supposed to be and easy to remove when done. Great quality tool as I expect from Milwaukee.

Very sturdy and easy to use.

The extension work as one should and I like the quick release but the only down fall is that you have to have a big enough bit in order to drill deeper than the original bit as I was drilling thru a header, but as far as having it to drill holes during rough in it’s great allows me to stand on ground and drill thru top plates of studs and not off a ladder in most cases.

Quick connects make this easy to use and provides a secure connection to the compatible hole saws and auger bits. When combined with the other lengths you get a lot of versatility to get through and between wall studs to create pathway, or drill blind holes in soffits.

Works great, wish I would’ve grabbed the 6” too though

When I got mine I didn’t even own it a month and one day my bit just drops out. Seems a spring went missing and couldn’t even get a reply for an exchange which is what really upset me. Good concept if it would last and if it does break where’s the customer service.

In the last year I’ve gone through two 12 inch extensions and one 6 inch. All three broke at the quick connect. Terrible product, no warranty. I’ll never purchase a Milwaukee product again.
