Looooonnnnggg Clamps
Wow, These are the longest clamps I have ever had or seen but do they work. I am building a gate that will close off a set of stairs to keep our crawling grandchildren from doing the baby bounce to the basement. The gate is 3/4" pine and it has 4 slats that are 6" wide and one slat in the center that is 8" wide. I used the clamps to hold the wood stationary while I put a frame on each side. I fit each slat to insure that the gap between boards was minimal. I did not have clamps that would fit this project so I was super excited to get them. They are so easy to operate and for as big and long as they are they are very easy to manipulate. The twist handles insure a good hold and a tight fit. I like the wide pads that hold the project in place. The slides took some getting use to but they lock easy now that I understand how to use them. These are perfect for building cabinets that I have put off doing because of the length. I am excited to use them and I am not afraid of them any more. These are worth their weight in gold. GREAT ASSET.

Great smaller/lighter alternative to the big parallel clamps
I am a big fan of Bessey parallel clamps. I have a very large collection of them and would not even consider doing panel glue ups without them. One thing that can be a little cumbersome is the weight. They are pretty heavy and can be tricky to get into certain situations. Enter the Revo Jr. I'm definitely getting more of these. I've found the smaller overall size and weight of this clamp to be much easier to handle in a lot of situations. Especially when gluing up dovetailed or lap jointed casework, and mortise and tenon glue ups. Since the joinery is holding everything in place, I don't need as much clamping force, so Revo Jr's are perfect. I also really like to use them over the top of panel glue ups. Again the clamp is a lot easier to manage then the regular K body, so it's a lot easier to put on and take off. Also don't let the "Jr" fool you. These are plenty strong. They provide more than enough pressure for your average glue up. Even if you have some of the regular K-Body clamps, look into these. They solve some problems you didn't even know you had

Great clamps, but full size K-Bodies are cheaper!
These clamps are decent quality, and are great for applications that don't require quite as much clamping force as the full size K-Bodies are capable of. They're very easy to adjust, just like the standard full size K-Body clamps. The bars are slightly lighter weight than the full size model, but the most weight savings is in the smaller clamping heads. The total reduction in weight is about 40-45% from the full size models. However, I don't think that weight plays that big of a factor into ease of use, since clamps don't exactly require hands-on use for most of the time I'm doing a glue-up. I measured the deflection of the jaws over the depth of the throat, and it's 1/8" out of square from the 3-1/4" distance from bar to the tip. This is compared to the full size clamps deflection of only 1/16" over a distance of 3-3/4". I performed this test by placing a 15" section of 2x4 between the jaws at 2-1/4" away from the bar and tightening up the handles almost as tight as I could get them. I included a picture of the K-Body JRs in this setup, and you can see the bar is slightly bowed. It's 1/16" bowed from center to edges over the span of 15". I realize that in an ideal use case, the workpiece will be much closer to the bar, which will eliminate most of the deflection. I was simply looking for a performance measure between the two models. One big downside is that I'm not sure why Bessey priced them higher than the full sized K-Body Revos. The only advantage I can see is that the JRs are about 40-45% lighter than the full size ones. Otherwise, the JRs feel slightly cheaper, and their jaw depth is about 1/2" less. The bar standoffs are also lower quality on the JRs, without the right angle "T" that helps hold the workpiece square to the clamp. The only way I can really recommend these is if the price drops below that of the full size models. Either that, or if you just can't deal with handling an 8 lb clamp over a 4.5 lb clamp. Otherwise, go with the K-Body Revo full size model, which is cheaper and performs better.

Good Clamps
They are not as beefy as the original K-Body clamps but still offer plenty of force for glue ups and the parallel clamp faces really help with keeping things square. The 50 inch length lets you clamp 48" cabinet casings too. The operate smoothly and also have a spare face pad in the event one needs replaced. Nice medium duty clamps that make glue ups much easier.

Fine Bar Clamp...
I have a number of K Body bar clamps as its one of the better ones for its ease of use and high quality. This 36” bar clamp is the same quality and design, but this is the Jr. version instead of the full sized K-Body REVO. The clamp jaw is narrower and the bar is a lighter weight. The clamp still adjusts and holds the work with long jaws and these are 3 1/4". This clamp slides nicely when loosened and quickly rides up on the bar to be in position. It has the same glue covers for all the jaw faces which saves time setting up. The clamping handle is wood instead of plastic and still tightens up the jaws easily. The rigid bar and jaw mechanism keeps the jaws from splaying out away from the work which can happen with other clamps. Not included is an optional clamp extender that can be used to get an even longer length by joining two clamp bars together. You can see the quality of these Bessey's in their design. This is a good size clamp, lighter weight for most jobs.

This C-clamp has a lot of plastic to make it looks larger. The screw diameter and the handle are significantly smaller than a regular Bessey K-body clamp.

Disappointed
I ordered these on-line and noticed that they did not compare to a similar product. I compared the two when I got home and saw that they had noticeable difference (thinner material etc.) and they both cost the same. I returned these and went and purchased more of the other product.

The Bessey clamp has worked for my needs. Occasionally, The lower section is difficult to slide along the rail. I have used paste wax to lubricate it and that has helped some. Overall good clamp.
