.....because these foreign junk ones last about a month. On their website and other websites Arnold said they were made in the USA, ............ but right on the package MADE IN CHINA.

Needed a replacement solenoid for my Ariens Zoom 42 zero turn mower. I was NOT going to pay the nearly $50-70 for the "name brand" item from the unnamed parts department. What is that one made of? Gold? So far, this one is working well. Engine engages every time the key is turned, which is what wasn't happening before. This thing was a bit of a pain to change. It's located underneath the seat, mounted on the BOTTOM side of a piece of the frame. You have to remove a side panel, rear hood hinge bolt, a few other frame pieces and the gas tank to get to this. Yes, the gas tank has to be completely removed. Thank God I didn't have a full tank of fuel before starting this project. Anyway, don't be scared to give it a shot. Of course, do your due diligence before throwing parts at an issue. Been there, done that.

It fitted perfect and so far it’s been doing its job. I’m using it on my 42” zoom Ariens Zero Turn and this solenoid fixed the problem.

Solenoid did NOT work I was able to start mower ONCE and turned mower off to move a rock out of yard Solenoid did NOT work afterwards Went to tractor supply and bought another. Mower has worked ever since Did NOT even drive back to Home Depot to return part because it was $15 and not worth my time , hassle and gas to go back to store

Worked great fixed my zero turn

Solenoid had 1 extra wire connection than original and other aftermarket models. I put it on mower and hooked all other connections up. There was no response when key was turned to start engine. Did what I should have done to start with and read instructions whichn indicated if there was no separate ground wire to hook to the connection it needed to have the jumper wire attached and connected to the bolt holing the solenoid to the deck. Worked perfectly after doing that. Model appears sturdier than original and other aftermarket solenoids. I am very pleased with this product

Did not fit my mower even though it is “universal”

Terminal broke while installing it using hand tools. Stick with oem if you can
