1. Excellent product. Helps save energy by turning off lights and heaters that I might forget and leave on. 2. Several years ago saw this item in the store and bought one to control a heater. Worked great. 3. Went to the store recently to purchase another. 12 hour unit not stocked, only 15, 30, and 60 min versions. 4. Went to home-depot.com. Searched, could not find it. Went to Google that took me to the item on home-depot.com. 5. Would have been nice if it had been available in the store, had to go home and order it on line, and then go back to store to purchase the items to build the boxes. Two trips instead of one. Plus time to search, order, and wait for delivery. 6. Bought six to avoid shipping charges, used four so far.

Works as expected, easy to install, knob is a bit small but we will adapt. Very good replacement at a good price.

I ordered this online and it took almost 2 weeks to get to my local store. The unit was obviously used and one screw was actually missing. I have a screw so I installed it and it works fine. I shop at Home Depot often but it’s going to be sometime before I order anything online again.

The replacement works so far. First one quit running after a few months. Other reviews said the same thing. One thing to watch out for is to NOT clamp down the nut too hard and NOT push the pointer on too hard.

Meets my expectations
This timer will work well for the application I intend. The timer shuts off about 15 minutes early.

    Best price
I used it for a whole house ceiling fan that had a 20 min timer only. With this I can put it on all night. Sleight negative is you cannot turn the switch back to switch it off like my old one. I just use the lever switch next to it to turn it off. Price was the best I could find.

    Bad within a week
The rotary switch stopped catching when turned clockwise. It would snap back to zero immediately. Check the switch carefully before you take the time to install it. This one needs to be replaced.

    Good product once installed
Timer switch works well once installed. This replaced an old & worn timer for a whole-house fan. I chose it for the 20 amp rating as the fan is properly wired for this. Unit IS stamped for 20A, but the terminals would not accept 12 guage wire easily. It does not have push-in terminals or standard side screws, has only the type that a screw pulls a clamp tight on the wire. That clamp, fully open, will just barely accomodate 12G wire - had to force it & clamp came apart twice. Seems made for 14G - but 14 guage is 15 amp max. One would think that a 20A switch would be made to accept 20A wire w/o a fight!! Other than that, it's working well & is a bargain if you don't mind fighting with it.
