Put this product with a light fixture in a half bathroom we built and love it!

My landlady doesn't take care of her building. Basically left the bare necessities, like bare light fixtures and doors with huge holes in them. "Well they still work!" is the logic here. Anyway, I decided to buy a $40 Ikea lamp to fix up my bathroom when I discovered the worst drywall job I've ever seen. With the cheapest flush mount with no shade they simply covered up what looked like an electrical box installed into a punch hole. I was about to buy joint compound and mesh to patch it up when a Home Depot employee told me about ceiling medallions! All you have to do is take some measurements, order, and caulk! (The manufacturer recommends painting but I had to save that for another day.) Anyway, look at the difference in the photo! Simple, easy, and most importantly it saved me time and money. I think my uncreative landlord will be very happy!

Excellent solution for covering up heat damage to ceiling due to too hot light fixture. Trinvial to install and paint.

it was exactly what I needed to cover some discolored plaster. It was easy to put up and looks beautiful.

This medallion is high quality and very well made. It is almost 1 inch thick and heavy duty. All items arrived quickly and in good condition. Unfortunately I have to return them. We are retrofitting existing fixtures and it is just too thick for our job. I am disappointed because I really liked them.

Most of these are made of thin plastic. This one is made of a solid cast material very similar to the way the original plaster ones were made!

This was what I was looking for. It matches the medallion already installed in the adjoining Living Room. Installed easily and looks great!

Not much to say--looks good, appears to be well-made. Certainly improved the look of the ceiling in our stairwell!
