I've used this saw for multiple projects and have not been disappointed. From cutting iron pipes to demolishing redwood gazebos, the RS7 has met all of my needs. Highly recommend - you will not regret it!

Very happy with this tool. It is very reliable. Lots of power, and the LED light was an added bonus that I didn't realize I wanted as a feature. A little on the heavy side, but still an excellent saw.

A good and reliable tool that works well and has good value for money

I like this reciprocating saw. It has good balance, ergonomics and power. The only thing that keeps it from the 5th star is that the Blade lock is often fussy and difficult to seat the blade in properly

I have been changing all my power tools over to the Bosch brand. I was surprised that this tool did not meet the standards of the others I own. The problem is with the blade clamp and the hex screw that holds it to the shaft. This seems to loosen quite easily so I put some LockTite on it and it seems to work much better. The question is, "Why didn't Bosch do this in the first place?". Perhaps they will now!

Our old one broke in the middle of a project - ordered this and love it!

I just received my saw today, previously I was working on cutting up an approx 72 inch diameter tree and It killed my ryobi R. S. When cutting through a 72 inch diameter tree it did ok but there is a slight flaw , or possibly with using other brands blades or when just using thicker blades in the tool.

nice saw.a little large and heavy but good quality.easy to handle and the led light makes a big difference

I've had this saw for a week now--have not used it yet--bought it for a rainy day Everybody should have a reciprocating saw and a right angle grinder under the tool bench--very happy with the saw--always use a blade suited for the work you are doing--don't buy cheap blades

I was in the middle of remodeling my basement when my old reciprocating saw finally bit the dust. Now what do I do? Went to my local home improvement store and saw the Bosch RS7 on sale, picked it up and put it to work immediately. Owning other Bosch tools, I knew I made the right purchase. Oh, by the way my basement remodel has been revamped thanks to a change of plans by my wife. Glad I got to tools (Bosch) to do it.

Received as a gift. Perfect saw for all jobs. Plenty of power.

For the price, you won't do much better. This saw works really well, cuts fast, doesn't overheat and can cut through fairly large size pieces of wood. Using the correct blade makes a lot of difference. If you are pruning, use a pruning blade.

Monster in a good way, powerful , quick change blades, has not failed with a lot of brutal time working, You would not want to need this for a lot of overhead cutting due to weight but great for all I have needed it for

I purchased a reciprocating saw from a local tool supply store and after using it for about 30 minutes my hands where numb and the saw was burning hot. I had alot more work to do so i went to a big box store and picked up the Bosch RS7. What a huge difference. The saw is powerful and gets the job done.The cheap saw ended up in a dumpster

These are just a few words I can say about my Bosch Reciprocating Saw. Any person who has a cutting job from Steel to wood to plastic board needs a good Saw.

I have had this a few years and it can definitely handle the abuse. It has has plenty of power to cut through anything you need it to.

Overall, it is a supper tool and functions great. Glad I bought it.

I bought this particularly to deal with treated landscape timbers. I have four large raised-bed gardens and their timbers "misbehave" (as in, ROT) from time to time, so I have to remove them, typically partial timber sections. Unfortunately, it's not always the topmost timber, which means that I have to remove from the bottom and middle rows. The RS7 works very well for this purpose.

I purchased this for a home basement demo, it works really well. The grips feel good at different angles. It has Bosch's typical durability that is one of the main reasons I buy Bosch tools. I do wish it had the twist style fastener for the blades like some other brands.

This is my 3rd saws all I have owned. I bought it for several reasons. Name brand is well respected for quality. quiet and powerful and had a case to carry it in. My only complaint is the quick connect does not always hold the blade if your in rough cutting with allot of vibration. I have never owned a saw with a quick connect so I am not sure if that's normal. That aside, I am very happy with the saw and would recommend it to my friends. Mike Corum

I have been very impressed with this powerful tool. As I carpenter I use it most days and it is very reliable. The variable speed trigger is very handy and easy to use. Overall this is an excellent power tool and I have and will recommend it to others looking for a powerful reliable reciprocating saw!

An old saw finally died in the middle of sawing a yard timber. After researching several brands, reading customer reviews and comparing prices, I decided on the purchase of the Bosch RS7. I was interested in 2 primary features: 1) Motor Amps 2) Quick-change blade attachment and adjustable leg. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Bosch RS7 also had LED work lights which is so helpful in the dark corners I encounter. It's first use was to saw timbers in the construction of a wheel-chair ramp for my wife after her recent surgery.

Good power and features, overall great deal for a great saw.

I picked this saw up to help with some home demo work - removing walls, old doors and windows. Lots of power, easily cut through nails, screws, wood etc. The unit is heavier than I had expected however not cumbersome. The led light is a great feature.

I use my RS7 for custom home framing. The LEDs are great for basement work and the folding hanger is great for work in the air. My Bosch RS7 beats my bosses Hitachis...hands down. Great investment!
