Not sure if the nap of my roller was too thick because a lot of them got stuck in the roller, used my 5 in 1 to try and get them back into the paint but that was sort of difficult to. Didn't cover like I thought it would but again the nap may have been to thick.

Wasn't happy with the end results. Looks more like stucco then stone. It did however cover my wa imperfections.

I never used this for the project that I got it for. That project is still on the list. I was going to add it to paint to cover a wall that has wall paper peeling off the walls. I was going to strip the wall paper and then use this textured additive to cover the roughness of removed wall paper (yes, I hate painting prep work so just cover up what I can) Unfortunately the wall paper is still hanging (mostly). I decided to try this on one of the boards I keep for vinyl and painting projects. The board had primer on it. The paint I used was a latex satin finish. I mixed, what should have been proportionate, into a much smaller container. I then painted it on with a Shur-Line trim and touch up pad, patting it on instead of rubbing. I’m sure the roller would do a better job of applying it evenly. . It had an interesting finish - Maybe I didn't mix it as well as I would if I had been painting a room but I like the different size grains that presented. I'm not sure, after seeing it on the board, that I would put it on my walls because I think it would be a nightmare to ever get smooth walls again. It would cover a lot of bad wall issues though. The product does exactly what it is supposed to do - I'm just not sure I like the look as much as I thought I would. I do think that I will find other uses for this.

This is a white powder like substance that you add to any paint. You must wear a dust mask as it is very powdery and flies through the air as you pour it into paint. Using a little will give you a finer texture and using a lot (which I did) will give you a heavier texture. My backyard door was not repairable, it had deep cracks and peeling paint but it is a good solid door. Adding the stone to white high gloss paint made the paint very thick and tough. I've used additives like this before and this didn't flake off as much while painting and after it dried.

The problem is none of the “stones” stick to the wall regardless if a roller or brush is used.

I got this to fix a stop in my ceiling that I had to patch from a leak, it blends right in. I didn’t use the whole bag to a gallon of paint just mixed enough to cover what I needed and rolled it on. I did have to clean the roller off a few times with a putty knife.

Created a nice texture and adequate roughness. Easily mixed with paint and dried well.

I used it for an art piece and it was easy to use, I really liked it and I will definitely use it again.

Not as advertised. I used one out of 3. Decided against using it because it had a very uneven appearance, and I followed the instructions precisely. Planning to return the other two.

I had a ceiling in my bathroom that had some flaws on the drywall. So I mixed this product in with the paint and it turned out perfect

This does what it's intended, and does a great job of covering imperfections. I removed a star for a couple of reasons: It seemed nearly impossible to get the texture even remotely even. I just had to decide to embrace the unevenness. It's beyond messy. This stuff flies and spatters everywhere. Make sure you tape and cover every inch of every nearby surface. Some spots, where the texture is thicker, just rubbed off at the slightest touch. I did a whole room (small office) which may be why I encountered these things.
