This saw is all as described and more! I bought this saw cause my smaller 8" saw could not cut 12" tiles on the diagonal. This saw is capable of cutting much larger tiles. Its easy to setup and take down. I used the blade that came with the saw and it worked flawlessly. It cuts straight and square right out of the box. The actual saw is a bit cumbersome and heavy if you are not used to heavy objects. This is definitely a professional grade saw. It came highly recommended by a pro tile installer I know. I did take advice in regards to the pump in that I have a separate clean water 5 gallon bucket that pumps water to the saw reservoir then when needed, i empty the reservoir and fill bucket with clean water. This practice is to give the pump more longevity. When purchasing, DO NOT FORGET to order separately the support stand specifically made to fit the bottom of the saw reservoir pan. The saw box is huge making someone think the stand is in it but its not.

D24000 is the ideal saw for an advanced DIYer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an advanced DIYer, I found that tiling projects offered not only a functional outcome, like fixing a broken bathroom wall or floor, but an interesting artistic opportunity. When I replaced carpeting with a hardwood floor, I had the opportunity to improve the quality of the installation, but also to include designs or wood combinations that added interest to the project. I had put in tile floors using rental wet saws, and rentals simply did not accommodate my two-demand priority: functional and artistic.
After a thorough read of tiling websites (including the well known and highly valuable John Bridge forum), the D24000 seemed to be a very highly regarded wet saw with lots of benefits. So I took the plunge (no pun) and rationalized I could pay for it by doing only a couple of modest projects. I have now had it for nearly a decade and have realized the accrued financial benefits as well as utility in a broad range of applications. My biggest project so far was a master bathroom project using porcelain tile on floor, walls, tub, and shower. This project included multiple tile sizes (up to 1'x2') and types, mosaic sheets, and decorative border sets (bathroom near final photo attached). The combinations required adjustments in cutting angles, depth adjustments, smoothing angular cuts, and other exotic ways to use a saw. I am not a professional, so learning on the D24000 was a straightforward and accessible goal. The standard cuts were easy, accurate, and clean without incident on the D24000. The rails were sturdily constructed leading to repeated accurate and smooth cuts. With porcelain, you will just need to change blades when see tipping beginning to occur. Once the rails were set, repeated cuts were remarkably accurate. Water control was so well controlled compared to "professional" rental units.
Even with a relatively large footprint, it was easy to fit in the bathroom being renovated (on the DeWalt stand) and easily moved about room through the project, and portable enough to carry (even for someone in their 60s). The excellent water control meant that using it in the room did not create problem wet areas. There were no anomalies of operation and a quality product from DeWalt. Even after ten years, there are no signs of wear or fatigue in construction. Since I have two more bathrooms to re-do, it is somewhat surprising that I am looking forward to the sheer delight in using the D24000. It was well worth the financial investment even for a DIYer (especially if you have multiple projects where you want quality outcomes). No guarantee on our design elements, but they will be unique, for sure.
Thank you DeWalt!

Cuts 2 inch pavers with ease
I just tried out the saw for the first time by cutting 35 each 2 inch thick 16 inch concrete pavers in half. It performs better than any 10 inch wet saw I have ever used.

It's OK, but not excellent. There's definitely some blade wobble with the very thin 10" blade. Had some chipping on ripped pieces, tho I dont' know how much of this was the saw or the lower cost HD tiles I was using. This got better after I added a blade stiffener disc from my table saw. The water certainly over sprays the back of the saw - not an issue if using the saw outside. I was able to accurately rip 2' tiles. Like any tool, I had to learn the ins and out of using it.

First…
I’m just a typical homeowner who enjoys projects. I am not a professional tile installer.
Secondly…
I bought this saw became I needed a saw that could cut 24” floor tile. This saw does that with ease. I’m a believer that having the right tool(s) for the job can make the job go much smoother, more enjoyable, and make the final product look much nicer.
Lastly…
I bought this saw instead of renting one locally b/c I didn’t know how many days it would take to complete the job (and I didn’t want to feel rushed to return a rented saw.
Overall, this saw is solid in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Very good saw
I have owned this Dewalt since about 2010. It has been very reliable and is a very nice quality saw. The pump did not last very long even only using buckets of clean water never dirty water, but was easy to replace (I use a ridgid pump from HD and it has lasted long time). The rolllers and rail finally needed to be replaced after many years. Since I needed a saw quick while waiting for parts and for xl tile, I actually ordered the xl version from HD for very good price.

Great wet saw for cutting thick glass
I use this saw to cut artistic glass. The blade that came with the saw works well for ceramic, but not glass. I ordered a glass cutting blade and the saw performs great.

Great saw, light years ahead of the smaller saws on the market. Minor detail, the hex key used to attach the saw to the base is taped to the saw blade and not with the other tools that are needed to adjust/install the blade. Dug through the packaging for a bit and only found it after I had already got my hex keys out of the tool box.
