Major design flaw! The “reset” button can only be used 2-3 times before operation of saw significantly degrades (per Steve and Bobby from JET tech support). The “fix” is installation of new reset switch. My 5 month old saw required this - meaning “out-of-action” for a month+. In addition dust port on back of saw (attached to HF dust vac) allows debris (maple shreds) to accumulate in saw housing shutting down saw (the reason for “reset”). Would make far more sense to place port on bottom of a chute for debris collection. Since JET knows about the flaw they should offer a refund if you have to get repairs in first year. Buy American?

I would rate this saw as very good. It cuts straight and has good power. It was fairly easy to assemble and set-up, Pick-up at Home Depot was excellent and fast, I would have preferred cast iron wings but were not available. I also would prefer a metal throat plate. Over all I am very satisfied with the quality of the product and the Home Depot service.

This saw was a birthday gift for my son. He loves it! "Makes easy work of everything. I had to be restrained from cutting every board in my shop"

This saw arrived very well packaged in three separate containers. The main box is quite heavy...definitely a two person requirement. Assembly was straight forward and the instructions were well done. A couple of the stamped steel legs were a little out of shape which required effort to make all the mounting holes line up but not a big deal. Definitely go with the cast iron side table panels if you have the choice...the stamped steel panels seem a little flimsy. Although the guide rails did stiffen them up significantly. Alignment was straight forward and not complicated. I had the saw assembled, aligned and made my first cut in about two hours from arrival. I do appreciate the blade lock for changing out the saw blade. A very nice product.

I bought this table saw last month and have been running it nonstop. The construction is stout and runs extremely smooth with hardwoods. I own a couple JET machines and I have not been dissapointed yet. These guys have it together. I would recommend this saw
