Not As Good As They Used To Be
Once upon a time I had purchased a Autoshelter for our previous home. Unfortunately I lost it in the Campfire in Paradise, California along with our home. I purchased another one for our new home in Paradise to cover a cattery to protect the critters. When assembling the new one I was disappointed. The quality as good as the old one. Many of the poles were poorly drilled and when bolted together they weren't fitted tightly. Many of the holes drilled too close to the end and one of them was right on the end of the pole and "hung" off the pole. Looks more like a "U" on the end of the pole. Not exactly secure. It seems as though the tent actually holds it together. Very disappointing.

    Great car cover
The product was amazingly good for the price. Some of the finishes were a bit rough but didn’t affect overall product. Time will tell. It was a big challenge following the directions Took a couple of guys who were handy to finally get it together. So far really enjoying the protection for my miata!

    Didn't last
We bought 2 of these, one for a boat and one for a jeep. 2 of us assembled them in a day. The door opening is too small to drive them in but we got them in there by lifting the structure. These sat for the year and then the tops on both ripped all the way down the center. Very disappointing that they didn't last longer. Wont buy again.

I've had this product 2yrs and now have to find another canvas. This poly-crap started to ripped after 6mos. The frame is fine, but a new cover (if I were to buy one) would cost $149! I don't trust this company. I called the number on the paper work that came with the product and all I got was sales promotion, one after the other. I hung up and called HomeDepot, who contacted them and gave me replacement information. Buyer be Ware! They don't stand behind (if you can even get ahold of them!) their product.

Hello, We are sorry to hear your cover lasted under two years. The life span can vary based on many factors including application, location and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. We do have different grade materials available for replacement if you were looking for something with a longer life span and longer warranty. We would be happy to go over these options with you. Please give us a call at 1-800-932-9344. Thank you ShelterLogic

        Complete Solution
Everything you might need is included in the box. Assembly is relatively straight forward. The many pieces are number coded and the diagrams show you what to do. The assembly instructions rely on pictograms and use very few words. It all comes in a sturdy, compact box. My only reservation and the reason for 4 stars is that long spans of tubing are in two pieces when they could be 1 piece. But then the box would be twice as long and shipping cost would probably be greater, I would definitely recommend this product. I would like to see mention of replacement parts mentioned somewhere.

Frame is great cover has failed / ripped after 9 m
I purchased this to cover my large 4 wheeled toy in January 2017 it is now September 2017 and the cover has failed and is ripping at the top across some of the frame points and I am sure that the rest will follow suit... covers are not strong enough to last for the unit.

          Easy and fast install
I have two of the auto enclosers and love both of them. I can even fit my diesel pick truck in it when I have to. Highly recommended. Even my cat likes it.

I bought the shelter for the winter rains that we get and a light rain at work just fine but with the heavy rain we've had for a few days now it is far from being waterproof my vehicle has got water droplets all over the hood and the roof and each the support frames has water drops on the inside how can it be called waterproof proof at this point I want my money back!!!

Easy to Construct, Looks Good, With Stood Recent Wind Storm with No Issues. This Shelter for a Medium or Large Car is Two Feet too Short and Two Feet too Narrow. Great for Lawnmower, Golf Cart, Compact Car and storage of small items. MAKE SURE YOU ANCHOR IT TO THE GROUND ON ALL FOUR CORNERS FIRMLY. Good Steel Frame. Can be Constructed in 6 or 7 hours with one person on a Calm day. Looks just like the sales picture when completed.

              Do not buy
My wife and I bought 2 of these a little less than a year ago. It took us all day to put it together. The directions have you put the structure together to find out you have to take it apart again to put the canopy on. The only reason we bought two is because we loved the one we bought before that was all put together with mostly bungees. Now all the seams are coming apart since their heat welded and the tarps is already tearing on the top. Since it was so hard to put together we did not build the second one and now that we see that the other one is falling a part we have no plans to do so

                Nice shelter. Good assembly!
This shelter was VERY easy to assemble. I only needed a little help from my 11 year old daughter to hold a few things in place while I assembled them. (And she got to learn how to use a ratchet!) I recommend getting the longer anchors - they seemed to bite and dig in better than those shipped with the shelter. Overall, it probably took me only a couple of hours to get it assembled. The hardest part was getting the anchors torqued into the ground! (There ought to be a power tool for that!) It's been up a month with no problems.

Very Good Product for the Price
We bought this to store our motorcycles for the upcoming winter. We previously had a Shelter Logic storage shed that held up well for several years until the Hanukkah Eve storm in 2006 blew it apart. You cannot expect that this will survive hurricane force winds. In comparison, I believe the tarp covering on the previous shelter was of higher quality but the frame work on the new one is higher quality than the older one. Two people put this together with help from a third person on occasion, the assembly was not difficult but be advised that there were some holes that were not lined up correctly and we had to drill holes to get some parts to fit correctly. This one came with better anchors than the previous one. The previous one basically just came with long tent stakes and this one came with solid ground anchors. I wouldn't consider this to be a permanent shelter but I hope it holds up for a few years of Seattle weather. It seems like it should do pretty well against the rain and occasional snow, we'll see how it hold up against wind. I am also posting a photo, you can ignore the extension cord in the photo, that was for the use of the drill and we also ran a metal detector all over the ground picking up a ton of nails left on the ground by the previous owner.

                  Good Product
This product can be put together nicely without any real hassel. It looks good and is holding up well for what I need it for. Just keep the snow off the top! I rated it good because I'm sure there is a more high end product that is excellent, but for the price you can't beat this!

The tan cover is very susceptible to tearing on the metal frames. I did,'t have it up very long before I noticed a tear in the right corner frame.

                      Tore in under a year!
We’ve had this up for less than a year to store our riding mower and other yard work items. It was awesome until a few weeks ago when we saw a tear beginning to form near the edge of the tent tarp. I reinforced it with duct tape both inside and outside. Not even two weeks later another tear started. We found one more rip randomly on the side panel that looks like a straight tear in the material. For how much this thing costs, I would expect the cover to last at least an entire year! So disappointed and worried my stuff will get destroyed if we ever have snow this winter!

                        I would purchase another
I've purchased two 10/20 shelters. They both are still standing. One of them is over five years. Showing signs of wear but still useable. The second is on its third year and is perfect. The secret to the long-lasting life is all in the prep work. Installing with direct ground contact is going to lead to problems. Lay out the frame. Level the ground. Stake pressure treated 2/6 planks in place. Secure the frame with lag bolts to the frame. On the inside use ratchet straps on each leg to the 2/6. If the forecast is calling for wind, cross brace the interior with ratchet straps. I live in Massachusetts. We have all kinds of weather. The last snowstorm gave us two feet of snow. I had to remove the snow a few times. Still standing. My opinion is if your shelter didn't fail you did!

This shelter is perfect for keeping frost and snow off my car. It's sturdy and seems like the snow should come off without a roof rake. The only problem was it didn't come with the door raising rope and things.
