Used this product to rehab older patio chairs. This made easy work to cover rust and prep for final coat. Last time furniture was rehab with same product was about 5 years ago and furniture has been out in yard with full exposure to sun and rain. Worth small price to make look new. Highly recommend.

I have used this before on other projects. Used this on an old rusty trailer.

This would have worked better if the instructions were to sand well first. My project came out pretty good but took a few tries to get it right.

Decent coverage with a smooth surface for paint

Purchased a used trailer that needed some love. Pressure cleaned, sanded, tapped off, and painted all the metal surfaces with Rust Reformed. It looks good, now we will see how it holds up to the elements. Did not apply a finish paint, it looks good flat black.

Product went on easy and produced a nice finish to top coat!

Does an amazing job covering rosy with just one application

Worked great! Sprays on like regular spray paint and covered every spot of rust. I gave everything two coats and it exceeded my expectations.

Rusted by rain and dis-use in the barnyard for years, this trailer hook up was in the worse shape! Pressure washing and sanding it helped but once spraying Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer, it transfrmed into a beautiful clean and like new metal surface!

Years of Ohio winters had left my hitch with a lot of surface rust, so I decided to try rust reformer with great satisfaction. I cleaned the area with a wire brush and damp cloth, and after drying application was easy and concise. It dried surprisingly quickly and worked perfectly with one coat. Most impressive is that I was able to match the rusted areas to non-rusted areas without a visible difference as if they were painted. The color is a great flat black. While it appears very paintable as the company suggests, I decided to leave the area the flat black. I would refer this product to anyone.

I used this spray to stop my 50 year old Sears 16'x12' shed from further rusting.

This is good stuff, but I wish it went on clear so I could see it working on the affected areas with less overspray mess. Goes on glossy black and dries to a flat black color.

I used this to repaint a very rusted trailer. I used a pressure washer to remove the loose rust first. Then I used mineral spirits to clean the trailer, then I sprayed all rusted areas with this rust reformer. I tried to scrape this off with a wire brush to see how well it adhered to the metal. It did not come off. I then painted the trailer with a finish coat. So far after a year the trailer looks amazing and has not rusted. My next project is to spray the rust reformer on rusted areas on my vehicles frame using the same method used on my trailer.

Quick Dry and Easy Application!

Used on very rusty metal gates. I used a metal brush beforehand and the spray paint left it looking smooth and far more perfect. I then painted an oil based paint over it. The finish is remarkably smooth.

Good primer. Seems to really lock in rust so it does not bleed through or increase.

Performed as anticipated when applying. Now I will have to wait and see if it holds up in the weather. I only applied the paint on January 5, 2024.

This spray eats into rusty parts and remains in good condition for a long time.
