Product arrived quickley which was great. The lamp itself is not made of very strong metal. I ordered 2 one arrived bent the box was fine so whoever packed it sent it that way. They work well as heat lamps but dont expect them to look very good for long cause any little tap or pressure distorts the shape of the hood.

Poor quality of product, housing was bent and damaged
Longer cord would have been a better purchase and a switch at the light or on the cord so you would not have to unplug each time you are finished

It works
Like the reviewer above, I was surprised by how flimsy the packaging was, even in the store. Didn't trust it. So we opened it up to make sure the parts were all there. There's some assembly required for the ball joint grip and no instructions were provided. That's why I came to homedepot.com to find directions and wound up writing this review. Ultimately, I zoomed into the photo here to suss out how it fits together. But really assembly instructions or example photo should be on/in the box!
Once assembled it works fine. Reflects light well. The clamp doesn't open as wide as an older model I've had for years.

Poor Packaging
The lights are good quality, however the packaging is very flimsy. The shades were dented and parts were missing. The guard, the hanger hook and the small clamp attachment with its screw were all missing from the package. It is open at the front and back and not protected from possible rough handling. The cardboard is not much heavier than a grocery bag. I would recommend inspecting the package before you buy to be certain all parts are included and in good shape.
