We used this spackling to patch the bathroom walls before painting ... It applies smoothly and evenly. It easily covers minor jobs in one coat. Great consistency. It dries very durable with very little to no shrinkage. Easy to sand with a heavy dust that falls right to the ground for an easy cleanup. Can be wiped off of tools quickly with water.

The product worked filled all the cracks I had this product is easy to work with no smell and no mess and easy to use .

I bought this because it was the only spackling compound in a tube which was essential to apply to inside corners. For years I used a putty knife and was difficult to get compound into the inside corners. Using an inside corner trowel with a nice bead right where you needed it. Terrific !

my only real issue with crack patch is the size of the tube! 5.5 oz isn't large enough, and I am too messy to be trusted with a huge vat of the stuff or (god forbid) a calking gun. Crack patch is so easy to use from the small tube, and worked so well on the shabby looking trim and baseboard mouldings throughout my house that i'm going to look into the feasibility of bulk purchases in the future. I wonder if HD ever does pallet size deliveries out to the boonies..? anyone?

It was not what I expected. Also, the instruction advise you to stir thoroughly, but this is impossible. The product was thick and crumbly. Hard to apply, but I made it work. Would not buy again

Crack patch worked great on several ceiling cracks around my house. It was easy to apply with minimal cleanup required afterward.

I did not buy this product for its intended purpose. I was told I could use acrylic spackling for making models and shaping foam, and it worked great. The difference is that it still remains a bit flexible and will not crack or shatter with a little bit of bend. I plan on using it again.
