Picture hanging for 5 years with command strips and ripped paint off my wall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 packs of the micro command hooks to hang our “DO NOT FEED THE SASQUATCH” sign and clock in our camper. I definitely didn’t want to drill holes in the door or wall.

Used these hooks to put my shell lights up in the patio. When the end started to come down taking a large chunk of paint with it, so I decided to remove the rest of them. I cannot get them off - the tab pulls off and is pulling the paint off the ceiling!!! This is a mess and I don't know how I'm going to fix it. Would not recommend this product to anyone - beware of excessive paint damage!!!!

I usually use the Command picture hanging strips and they work very well for me so I figured the hooks would work just as well. The whole point of using these hooks was so I didn’t have to nail holes in my wall. A few days after hangino them, I decided to move them higher, which is the advantage of “damage free” hooks, right? Wrong. I pulled the tab the way the instructions said to remove it and it ripped the paint off of my wall. Now I have 2 nickel sized patches of paint missing where the hooks used to be. I don’t even know where to start to fix this. So disappointed.

I am caregiver for a disabled woman. She can not afford to buy a product and have it not work. I have the larger and after a period of time they started failing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the micro hooks to secure the end of my phone charger so it doesn't fall to the floor when not in use. I have one on the edge of my desk, and one on the upper side of my vanity.

These Command Hooks have been a huge phenomenal success for me in my work place for organizing and maximizing limited space. I am a forever Command product lover!

I brought this product a couple of weeks ago and I love how durable these hooks are.

i bought this product only a few weeks ago to use as a bathrobe hook. when i tried to remove it, it would not come off and the hook broke off and the product stayed adhered to the wall. i tried again and the hook ripped off a large and noticeable chunk of the wall. I now have to re-texture and repaint, which will mean having to purchase new paint and texture and will not be able to use my bathroom for at least a few days. this is not acceptable. WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN.

I just bought these for a very light item to hang and they are great for this job.

I thought I would love the CLEAR Micro Hooks but don't. I use the white ones all the time and replaced some inside a cabinet trailer with the clear and no matter how I apply them they do not stick for any length of time!! No problems with the white ones.

I got these to replace using a push pin to hold our calendar. They worked great! My calendar's fairly heavy too and it held on a satin sheen painted surface.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i am in love with the comman products,hubby says i crazy i have a whole bag full and use them for everything.finally i can hang stuff on my walls and not damage them,i can hang cutains and use the hooks as tie backs and hang towels on them in the bathroom and kitchen!! love these!

These are the best I live in a Rented Mobile Home and we can't nail anything to the walls. I have used them to hang everything pictures,clocks,mirrors & ETC.When I move out would have to pay $5.00 for nail holes & $10.00 to $20.00 for any holes in the walls. I even use them for my internet wire.THEY ARE THE BEST WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE

Living in a dorm room makes it a bit hard to hand things up and make the room welcoming. These micro hooks are great! They are little and are hardly noticeably against the creamy-white walls of the room. It great to hang up lights, or curtains, or a closet cover.

this stuff is awesome. Way better than banging nails into your wall.

Command hooks are the best. They don't hurt the paint or the walls and they are strong enough to hold all kinds of wall hangings and decorations. We use them a lot at Christmas time for lights, stockings, and other decorations. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

So easy to put on and take down. They worked well for small items and left no residue.

We purchased these to attach a Christmas wreath to ceremic tile. They did an excellent job!

I have used these for several years to hang Christmas stockings on my mantle and some other wall ornaments. Adhesive has always released cleanly with no residue or damage to the underlying paint
