Great Lightweight Rotary Hammer for anything!
This is a great heavy duty impact drill to drill into anything, including concrete and limestone rock. This rotary hammer works great for that and more. It is surprisingly very lightweight for its size.

It's a Beast!! Adopted as one of Granny's Babies!
Best decision I made was to purchase this beast! I originally started my putting in a handrail project with an 18V brand name hammer drill. After almost an hour and only 2-1/2 holes drilled, I called it quits for the day. Next day I returned the drill for the Milwaukee SDS Rotary Hammer Drill. It drilled through like butter! In about less than 15 minutes I had all 8 holes drilled! The power of the drill through the concrete was amazing. If a 65+ year old granny can handle it, I'm sure you can too!

    Poor design
Bought this drill and the second time using it the drill bit release wasn’t working and the bit was either not locking in or not releasing the bit. Super frustrating considering it’s brand new

      I am impressed
I did not want to spend the extra cash on a SDS Max when I was only going to drill only one or two holes. I knew it was not recommended to use a SDS plus for a poured 4-6 inch concrete slab. I bought a cheap concrete 4 inch wide hole saw bit. The drill did not complain at all with a dry drilling. It was fun and only took 30 minutes. For less than $200 this is my new go to drill. Not too large or loud. All the functions work fine. Would recommend!

        works great
Works great. Heavy duty. Good grips and easy bit replacement. Im using this to remove glued down hard wood flooring to concrete. For 3 days now this roto hammer has been running non stop for about 3-4 hours a day. Selector switch starting to stick a little bit, probably from all the dust so time will tell if that becomes a problem. As for performance and durabilty with the motor ive gotten it pretty hot for long periods of time and it keeps on kicking or hammering.

This drill rotary hammer performed flawlessly! I honestly abused it nearly continuously for ten hours a day three days in a row. I drilled about 30 holes ⅝" in 5" concrete with one bit. Chipped out about 4'² of 5" concrete, really should have used a jackhammer, but you've gotta use what you've got on hand sometimes.

Best Roto Hammer we've ever owned!
We've had this for a year now. We just recently started a commercial job where we had to drill 120 6" holes in the concrete slab and footings. It did them all no prob and is still going strong.

Milwaukee tools, worked better than expected! Ive bought nothing but for years as a contractor and now in retirement. Made my tile job a breeze with the milwaukee tile and scaling bits added.

I just purchased and used this to drill 24 1" x 15" holes in a pool deck with cambridge pavers placed over compact sand and 4-6 inches of concrete. Exceeded all expectations. I am installing a loop loc pool safety cover and received a $2700 estimate from the pool contractor. With this tool, I got the job done for $1600. The owner's manual says max bit should be 7/8 but it worked fine with the 1" solid bit. Minimal binding and clutch worked great. Each hole took about 5 minutes and I took a 30 minute break after each 4 holes to allow the motor to cool as a larger much more expensive drill would be more indicated for such a job. Great drill, great performance and great price. Follow all directions, watch you tube, measure three times and drill between your pavers. If you need to drill through a paver, start the hole on drill only setting and then switch to hammer drilling.

Too be honest, I just bought the 1 inch SDS Roto-hammer but wanted to add to the comments. Over the last few years, I've been renting rotary hammers for around 50 bucks a pop for jobs around the house which usually involved 1 or 2 holes being drilled. These holes have always been in the concrete driveway (new post bracket for the gate or the hole for the gate drop pin). Well, had another hole to drill in the Driveway (4-5 inch think) and decided that there might be a few more 1 to 3 hole jobs in the future so I decided to bite the bullet and ad to my collection of rarely used tools that nest in the garage (including is a floor nailer, a drywall screw gun and my personal fav, a Makita hardy concrete backer board cutter) - they all get used but will probable have less tha 20 hours on them by the time I leave this great green Earth. Anyway, I bought the Wilwaukee 1 inch SDS and a 5/8 bit and with in 45 seconds of opening the box the job was done! No problems what so ever. Bored into the driveway like butter. Thinking about hammering up a rock next - must be my Italian blood beckoning.

I have a larger Milwaukee rotary hammer and then another brand cordless rotary hammer that is comparable. I love this hammer. It packs a decent punch for its size. I used it to remove tile and plaster that was adhered against the interior side of an exterior wall. Wall was cinder and brick mix. Just the right amount of punch to hammer and chisel away the material you want gone without compromising or damaging the exterior wall.
