Great coverage and very long lasting
The deck is about 12x30 ft, and two gallons covered two coats perfectly. Lasted 5 years.
First coat is very good coverage, and the second coat catches anything I missed. Dries fairly quickly, and easy to wash up with soap and water.

Initially the paint looks very thin, not like solid color. I need to applied twice, then the color holds pretty good. I attached a photo, which shows before and after painting of our wood gate. The color looks very bright under sunshine.

Worked out pretty nice
A little liquidy (not sure if we'd really want it to be thicker as it did do the job nicely). It worked out pretty good on the kids outdoor playset. Took 2 coats and around 1 1/2 gallons, we didn't do inside the covered play area as it would have made that area too dark. Spread pretty smooth with a brush. Left no streak marks. Affordable price couldn't beat that deal and Overall we are very happy with the stain.

Excellent Redwood Stain at a Reasonable Price
Used this stain to renew the large sheds at our local church. Easy to apply, good coverage, perfect color match, and a great value. Some spots that were very dry needed a second application, but for the most part, one coat was all that was needed. To do all the sheds shown in the photos on all sides we used 7 gallons. Completed the entire job in about 2 hours with a six-person crew. Highly recommend this stain as an excellent, low-cost option.

Great - Be Aware It Fades
Have bought this several times and coat my deck with it every 3-4 years. It’s economical, gets the job done, and doesn’t require me to pick from 1000 custom shades that cost twice as much. Be aware that — at least in the Phoenix, AZ sun — it fades to a brick color, which I prefer, as that’s more natural-looking than the color shown on the can.

Hello Jayames, thank you for your review. I’m so sorry our oil-latex stain was watery and didn’t cover well. This stain should have a water-like/liquid consistency. If it seems thinner than that, I recommend stirring the stain in the container for 5 minutes to see if it gets to the right consistency. If it doesn’t, it’s best to use a new container before recoating across the surface in a thin coat for better coverage. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. I put this on my deck, then realized the can says not to put it on horizontal surfaces that get foot traffic. However, so far, it looks great. I used 2 coats. First coat had light and dark areas which resolved with an additional coat. Nice color, easy application with a roller.

Used this product to paint a wooden swingset. The color was pink when I painted it on but a nice rust red once it dried. Amazing coverage over the old paint. Dried quickly and I only needed one coat. You can’t beat this price!
