This is a great sprayer at a good price. There are 4 things I like about this sprayer. First, the hose appears to be a high quality rubber that is very flexible. The other brand of sprayer that I purchased has a cheaper hose that became very stiff after a few years. I'll have to see how this hose holds up after a few years, but out of the box it is softer and more flexible than my other sprayers. Second, the handle is large, ergonomic, and easy to use with gloves. I don't mind that it is plastic, as it appears to work well. My old sprayer has a narrow brass handle and valve, but it is not as comfortable to hold and use as this DB Smith model. Third, this sprayer comes with several different tips. This is a huge convenience, as I have always wanted a fan spray tip, but my old sprayer didn't come with one, and I never bothered to try and shop for and order one. Having the tips included is very convenient, especially at this price. Last, the price is excellent compared to the competing brand sprayer. I own two of the more expensive brand, and they are not worth the extra cost. And I see that Home Depot carries a replacement valve + wand kit, which is convenient. Note that this particular model does not have a pressure release valve.

I was recently looking for a new 1 gallon sprayer to apply an algicide to my cement tile roof this fall in hopes that I could kill some of the moss growing on one side of it. I had already purchased the algicide but wasn't sure what sprayer to go with when I found this Smith Professional Sprayer I knew it was meant to be. I personally have (3) other sprayers but I can tell that there is a significant difference between this one and my other three. The first thing my wife noticed is the that the hose is more heavy duty and it comes with a brass spray tip instead of plastic. I really like this because on my other sprayers if you accidentally rub the sprayer tip against the cement foundation or the driveway while spraying for bugs it messes up the real fine misting pattern because the tip has gotten scored. I won't have that problem with a brass tip. I also really like the extra spray patterns they give you which is foaming, high volume fan, low volume fan & an adjustable plastic tip (which is just like the brass tip) for a total of (5) tips. This pumper also says it has Pump Less Technology (less strokes to pump it up to pressure), the Auto Release Valve (really like that you can depressure the tank prior to opening the top), See-thru tank, Proffesional grade Shut Off with Comfort Grip, Easy No Spill Funnel Top, Heavy Duty Non-Corrosive Wand and Viton seals (o-rings). All in all this little one gallon sprayer is just perfect for what I need it for. If you are looking for the perfect little sprayer this is the one to get.

One gallon size easily carried. Includes assortment of tips (adjustable brass, adjustable poly, foaming, high and low volume fan). Service kits, parts and accessories are available. Easy to fill and clean with wide cupped lid. Translucent with marked water fill lines. Pressurized with just a few pumps. Safe, pressure release cap which send liquids and vapors down when cap is opened. Slightly more expensive but worth it. One year limited warranty.

This is a nice, much better than average 1 Gal. sprayer. It has 5 different spray tips, 2 of them are adjustable, 1 is brass and 1 is poly. I personally like the adjustable brass tip. You can't mess up the tip if you accidentally hit it against something hard. I like that it has a safety feature that releases the pressure if you have exceeded the recommended pressure. It also pressurizes with less strokes that the average sprayer. Well worth the money spent.

The Smith 1 gallon sprayer is ideal for spot weed killing in my lawn. I can mix up a gallon of lawn weed killer and keep it in the sprayer in my garden shed and whenever I see a broadleaf weed erupt, I can quickly dispatch it with the 1 gallon sprayer. It is just the right size for my use and not too heavy to carry around to spot spray weeds. This will be a yard tool that get used often.

There are a lot of products out there that profess to be professional quality but only the marketing makes them that. This sprayer is absolutely a cut above and seems that it would easily work in a professional setting. Beefier hose, heavy duty spray control, higher, heavier duty fittings, more substantial thickness bottle, etc. All around a high quality piece. Sprayer pumps easily and develops good pressure, interchangeable spray heads make directional problems go away. Should last for many years with average care. Nice job on this one!

A great little sprayer. You can't have enough of these in the shed for week killer, poison ivy killer, soaps and sprays for the lawn equipment and of coarse fruit tree and shrub pest control. This sprayer is easy to fill and has a longer hose than a few of my other sprayers. Looks like the parts are easy to replace if needed as other sprayers out there. Easy adjustment and spray pattern. Pumps easily also, A great product over all.

This is a very good sprayer and very durable. This sprayer has different tips to go with it. It is a heavy duty sprayer like they say it is and it will last a long time especially if you take care of it. You are able to control the spray pattern with the spray tip that is on the sprayer. It does have pressure relief on the sprayer to where you can not build up to much pressure and damage it.

The Smith 2 gallon sprayer comes with 5 spray nozzles. (1) An adjustable brass nozzle which can be adjusted for needle point spraying or fan spraying, (2) a foaming nozzle, (3) a high volume fan nozzle, (4) low volume fan nozzle and (5) an adjustable poly nozzle. The unit has a safety feature built into the unit that will relieve pump pressure if over exceeding the designed pressure (relief valve). The unit also features "Pump Less Technology" which translates into pressurizing the unit with less power strokes. Unit is totally non-corrosive all poly other then the brass nozzle (1). This sprayer should give years of service.

Works well can see many uses for this product. I would recommend it.

Sturdy, quality product. I do not like being required to use 50 characters.
