The paint was THICK and covered the concrete on my porch well and nicely. Because it was so thick it was harder to apply than a wall paint but it covered all of the wavey parts of the old concrete well. I used a power drill to stir the paint and it was definitely needed, wooden paint stirrer alone is not enough. Because it is Acrylic cleanup was fast and easy using water alone. I waited a day between coats, not just the 4 to 6 hours recommended.

Our cement patio now looks so beautiful that we are getting more use of the outdoors - having dinner and lunch there; sometimes breakfast too.
I blow away pine needles and fallen leaves (now they are easily visible) with a garage blower.

Looking to buy this in another color
I painted with this on the floor of our trailer we are updating to use for camping. It looks like green marshmallow cream when you open it. It goes on easily and dries quickly. I used a brush and made sure my brush lines were straight. It has little granules in it to keep you from slipping. Clean up is easy. I ordered this online to pick it up at the store and had to wait about a week for it to arrive. I thought pine green would be close to forest green. It is not. It is a grass green or a pool table green. It sort of grows on you and I have decided that I rather like it. I am planning on painting the ramp to our side porch with this same kind of paint, just with another color.

After having built a short ramp to help my disabled stepdaughter negotiate the two steps from our home into the garage, I needed something to make the top surface anti-slip. I researched the various options and settled on this paint as the most attractive choice. So far I'm very impressed with the product. Per the instructions on the can, I first coated the plywood surface with an oil-based primer. After that dried I applied two top coats, which the manufacturer recommends for maximum durability. The paint is quite thick but handles well and spreads evenly. It contains a sandlike substance that provides for increased traction. Due to the small area involved I chose to apply the paint with a brush, although for larger areas a roller or squeegee would be more efficient. Coverage was good and the material had no discernable odor - always nice when working indoors. The final finished surface is attractive while being very grippy. As the material has only been in use for several days, I can't comment yet on durability but will update this post in several months to weigh in on that matter. Absent any issues there, however, I highly recommend this product.

Color is a little blue-ish but still passes for grey. Wish the price per gallon was cheaper I have a smaller courtyard area and I'm going to need 4 gallons to finish it. So far I'm happy with the outcome.

Used to paint concrete front steps. Color does have a slightly blue hue to it. Paint goes on thick, self levels well. Can feel the grout in it but it's not lumpy, grit is fine.
I power washed, then used Rust OLeum etch, then used concrete bonding primer 1st, hoping that helps longevity, followed by 2 coats of sure step. For a little flair I used Rust OLeum decorative flakes, they're really made for epoxy floor coatings not for acryllic paints, which I believe is what Sure Step is. But we'll see.
Hoping this stuff holds up for at least a few years. Cheap enough that I'll just recoat with a roller if needed.

This worked great for our outdoor screened-in porch. It is gray but lends itself to a little blue-er tone. (just a little) It is definitely non-stick. It has a bit of sand? in the paint, which makes it not slippery. We etched it first, the put 2 coats on after (with roller). Went on very nice and thick. Nice to work with. It has only been a month since we did so hope it lasts a long time.

Looks great after two coats, but doesn't last as long as we hoped
Originally painted around our pool with the grey pearl three years ago and was hoping not to repaint for several more years, since it looks so beautiful once finished. Unfortunately it didn't last as long as I would have wanted (because of staining and fading) and had to repaint it again this year, but hoping this time around it will last longer than 2-3 years. Also, painted the coping around the pool in white, but because it's a tintable paint, all the leaves and tree debris that sits on the white paint too long begins to stain the white color and then quickly looks dirty. The company's clear paint claims it helps against the staining, which seemed to help somewhat when we used it three years ago, but does ultimately get dirty after time. I wish there was a very strong white concrete paint or even clear coating that has a stronger anti slip and stain resistant finish that doesn't yellow the white paint color and won't stain after about a year.

Pool Deck
My pool deck had surface staining, cracks and surface brittle concrete for over 30 years, I wanted to get it resurfaced but could not afford it, I had estimates of $3700.00 which was not in my budget.
My son came up from Florida and researched the different types of pool decking and he picked out the Sure Step because it had wonderful reviews. My son cleaned. pressure washed, used 300 lbs of cement patching, filled the many cracks and prepped the deck. He rolled on the Sure Step and applied 2 coats which in each application took him 2 days. We ordered 20 (1 gal cans ) and only used 13 after 2 coats. Returned leftover unused cans to local Home Depot. Now as you can see the before and after pictures, we love our new pool deck which cost me a little over $500.00 We now are proud of our new pool deck and family and friends are enjoying the beautiful new look.

Extremely Happy With Results
After 25 years of weather beating down on our unsealed concrete pool deck, I had to do something. I ended up powerwashing the entire 650 sq ft with Simple Green & then began to paint. I could only paint first thing in the morning when the concrete was in the shade. I ended up using 7 gallons, 4 for the first coat & 3 for the second coat since the concrete was so porous. I am extremely happy with the result. The painted pool area is cooler when walking on it, less abrasive on your feet, & looks like a new surface. I haven't powerwashed any of it, but I am hopeful that the paint will not come off.

The perfect solution the the concrete around our pool.
Originally painted 7 years ago with a different product that never had the anti slip feature, so was scary getting out of the pool. With Sure Step, I feel more confident and love the outcome. Wish there were more color options, but overall, we couldn't be happier.

Does the job
Knowing that I'd need 2 gallons, I mixed them in one larger bucket to ensure uniformity. Other than a basic cleaning there was no prep work to the existing spalled and cracked concrete floor. Coverage was excellent and it made a huge difference in the look of the garage floor. If just for pedestrian traffic it's great. But constant vehicular traffic showed patching only where the tires sat...so I now see 4 contact patches on the garage floor. But it's livable. I would still recommend this product. Perhaps had I etched may have proved a better finish, but I wanted to just get it done. See before and after pics.

Second try with this product... happier
Two years ago I purchased "sand" and was not happy with the color, and within 2 years it looked pretty ratty. Mind you, our in-ground concrete pool is 50 years old! This year I am happier with the "light gray" tone and laid it on real thick. Coverage is good, it even helped hide some cracks and uneven spots. It also worked well on the metal ladder railings for an added anti-slip grip. Let's see how this stands the test of time...

This product for our application on a interior concrete door stoop, that for many years had in/outdoor carpeting. We were tired of replacing it every few years from wear. This anti slip product was very easy to prepare for & apply, it had just the right amount anti slip for our need. Dried very fast, used two coats as directed, work was completed 30 days ago.
