This is my first time using YOLO interior prmier an if i could rate this any lower i would. Beware of reviews from people who just used this paint. It went on nicely, but after only a few months the paint is peeling in a large section after starting with just a small chip in the paint. We tried to sand the edges to touch up the affected area, but a 2x3' area peeled off. This paint does not hold up well over time, and I'm afraid we'll have to completely remove this paint before we can even repaint the area. So basically dont buy YOLO paint.

Not too bad, best part is no noticeable odor, painting a 500 sq. ft. room, with green walls that I want to cover with a light grey, I'm using this because of the bleed through, spreads decent enough, although there is still some bleed through of the green. Used a roller and brush and this water based stuff tends to go on a little thin, like water color paint, so you're having to go over it a bit more, meaning more work. I didn't mind this too much, because I'm using an expensive top coat. Although, the primer is somewhat pricey in relation to the final top coat, might want to do a trade off between more top coat paint without the primer, if you're doing the same kind of project.

This is my first experience with any kind of primer, but it was a good one. I had a mixture of 30 year old, well used walls, patched walls, and new drywall areas. The coverage was decent over the old stuff and looked like it could use a second coat on the patched and new drywall areas (very little compared to the rest of the room). This was expected though. Overall it went on very well with a roller and covered everything fine. It was nice having virtually no odor. What little odor was there didn't seem to leave the room and wasn't noticeable in the rest of the house.

I didn't believe the totally odorless feature. . This was tested on my front door. I want it for my bedroom. It's true, no odor. Years ago the front door was painted black. I used a thick formula indoor paint the first time I tried to change the color, it triggered a migraine. YOLO Primer does not trigger breathing problems or headaches. It's hot and humid in Florida, the primer dried quickly. This Primer was thin and runny. It would not have covered the black door in one or two coats. It went on quickly with a good paint brush. Water cleaned the brush. The trade off: You'll be $pending more time and money to transform from black to chartreuse, but with no harmful health effects. That's worth it for me.

Great coverage over drywall. Drys fast and is non-smelly. One coat is all you need.

I was very impressed by this primer. Good consistency - not to thick or thin. Rolled on smoothly with excellent coverage. I did detect a mild odor, but not offensive at all. Scent actually reminded me of my craft glue. Quick and easy clean up with soap and water. Love the environmentally friendly characteristics.

You can't go wrong with this primer. It has no odor and the coverage is excellent. I used it to cover up ball point ink marks on a painted wall. It only took one coat and the marks were gone. I had tried to cover other ink marks with 3 coats of paint but that didn't work. This primer did the job in one coat! No problem. There isn't a noticeable odor with this primer at all while using it or while it is drying on the wall. Drying time is fast too, just 30 minutes.

Hardly used any for application. Though the project was small, I believe it would go a very long way. Seems to have stuck well. Easy to apply. Love the low VOC option!

High quality, great coverage, easy to apply. Best eco friendly primer we tried out of 3 brands. Will definitely use again.

if something good with no chemicals can work just as good as something with chemicals if not better... then why do we need the chemicals at all?
