I have yet to apply paint; so I'm unable to comment on the quality of the product; though Behr has a pretty good track record. My suggestion to anyone considering purchasing paint through homedepot.com would be to go to the store to get color swatches first, as the internet image is not true to color and paint is a NON-REFUNDABLE item. In my case, my local Home Depot did not have color swatches/brochures, for this specific product, on hand at the store; so I went directly to Behr, who was kind enough to mail them to me. Received them in a few days and I'm glad I did, because the brochure was dramatically different than the internet image, in terms of color. The brochure was an almost exact match with the delivered product. "An ounce of prevention......"

The sales person stated that this product would be most suitable for the purpose needed to cover basement cement walls and provide the waterproofing. I found this product to be exemplary for the coverage it provided and there was no odor. I was pleased with the results and would highly recommend this product. Pricing was reasonable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my basement floor and concrete stairway and i am super impressed. My basement had numerous layers of paint and some slight chipping/ cracking from seepage. Two coats of this paint made it look brand new and I love how well this covered the area - it was super easy. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to paint concrete or brick surfaces.

I loved how easy and well this product covered the walls in the basement. We had a slight water issue and put this product on and ever since we haven't had one problem.

This is the best waterproofing paint EVER! We have a drainage issue and can't rectify it until spring, however, we decided to waterproof the inside of the basement walls. It worked perfectly! It is very thick(like mud) and you will need two coats--but, well worth it. No more water and no more musty odor! Thanks BEHR for this great product!

I have used this at jobs and on home projects and have had excellent results. It works well on older homes ,in the basements that leak all year round and where most products fail, this won't.

I am a professional painter and couldn't live without this product

I purchased this to seal up foundation walls. They were not leaking water, I didn't want moisture to get behind the parge though. This caused a lot of spalling flaking in the past. The 870 went on real nice & I was surprised how well it covered with one coat, I use 2 as recommended. This really seals up the poured walls & I'm pleased with it. I use hydraulic cement & mortor so the wait time to paint is negligable. On outside foundation walls etc this really looks nice & quite a step up from acrylic latex in my opinion.
