These are beautiful, high quality, and reasonably priced. We needed 2 lights with narrow bases to fit next to a medicine cabinet in an old house. Most lights have bases so wide they wouldn't fit. These not only fit but look beautiful. We also happened to have a set of glass globes that make the room even more fabulous. Very happy with these.

Nice if you intend to spraypaint it. It looks unfinished otherwise.
zI would recommend it to a diy person, as long as you are not expecting it to look like an expensive fixture. Once spraypainted it looked great.
