I do not think this light looks very nice. The part that you acre the light into is crooked so the Edison bulb that can be seen is crooked and hangs slightly to the right. Not impressed with the quality.

I am just obsessed with these pendant lights. The kit was so easy to install and they really go with the atomic/modern look we have going on in our living room/bar area. So much better looking than the old dated pot lights. We paired them with the squirrel cage bulbs for the perfect look!

These lights are an incredible buy! They are so easy to install and they make such a huge difference! I wish the ceiling mount was a little more modern but, hey, for such an easy switch, I can't complain. Finished with some cool older style bulbs, these lights totally transformed my kitchen island! I highly recommend!

The pendant light was exactly how described: easy to install and looks great. Also, this was one of the few pendant lights that allows 75 watt bulbs. Planning to order at least two more of this product.

Looks great and overall easy to put up. Could be better quality for sure and one of my pendants looks crooked because the part that holds the lightbulb is not straight. The included washer to make for a tighter fit was a good idea but it doesn't fit. Overall though, I’m happy with the purchase.

So easy to instal. A quick update to my bathroom

I ordered 2 fixtures- both arrived missing the piece that covers the threads inside the globe. Also, the interior piece where the bulb goes would not stay straight. It’s unfortunate because I have the exact fixture in my powder room (bought about a year ago) which is perfect and looks great. I am not inclined to reorder as I do not know if the merchandise will come in with the same issue.

As expected, the product was easy to install. It's a great idea, and I wanted to love it, but... I didn't. My problem with it was the design. That little piece of plastic that any extra cord gets wound up on appeared very fragile. I didn't break it, but it flexed a great deal, and seemed weak. I installed it in about a minute, but pushing the metal cover into place that covers the can fixture in the ceiling was a problem. The only way it would stay tight was to 'load' the frail piece that the extra wire was wound up on with enough tension to keep the cover tight to the ceiling. Just sliding it up and trying to secure it resulted in gaps between the ceiling and flange that appeared obvious to my wife and me. But snugging it up was making me cringe because it seemed obvious that it was putting a lot of stress on that piece and bringing it close to snapping off. In the end, I decided to return the product and go with a different conversion kit that was (in my opinion) a much better and sturdier design. (Home Depot SKU# 1000016170 made by Westinghouse.) My thought was that if it was this fragile and flexible now, when it gets hot, it'll be even more prone to snapping. If they would only have made that plastic bar connect to a 'stirrup' shape, it would be a sturdy loop. The customer would have to wire the hanging part so the cord could be fed through the stirrup, but it would be a much sturdier product... and still be hanging in my kitchen.

The plastic piece you wrap the cord around can break if there is too much tension on it. One of my lights had the plastic hanger piece break after a week when I installed it. Luckily when it broke the glass globe didn't break as it was hanging about a foot from my granite countertop when the plastic hanger piece broke. I returned the broken light for another one since I do really like style and it looks great in my kitchen. Just beware of the amount of tension you put on the cord when first installing the light. The plastic hanger piece should be a little more robust then it currently is.

We were thrilled to find a can light conversion featuring a hanging globe, and doubly appreciative of the free shipping. The lights arrived fairly promptly, and we had our kitchen contractor install them (although I could have). The system of wrapping the cord to determine height is rudimentary but effective--it does get a little tricky if you have two globes that have to hang the same distance from the surface of the island. Patience is definitely needed--the cover that conceals the recessed lighting trim looks nice but is a little hard to secure. Again patience is a must. The cord has some kinks so the light does have a tendency to not hang straight down. Our contractor said that they would straighten out in time. Overall ,my wife is pleased, and that's what matters.

It only took about ten minutes to install after viewing the video. It looks lovely over the kitchen sink and totally blocks the draft coming from the old canned light.

This product is simply the best thing since sliced bread. Attractive, great functionality and incomparable to any other "instant" type lighting replacement for recessed lights. I have them in multiple locations in my home. Totally ideal for breakfast bar and/or kitchen sink areas.

I wanted a simple pendant light that was easy to install. I was able to do it myself and did not need any help. I am very happy with the look of it.

I bought this light to hang in the master bath over my wife's vanity. It looks really nice and it was easy to install but for the quality this item is over priced. The hanging light and glass ball is very light so any kinks in the cord are not fully straight. I would recommend this light as simple decor but it is really not that functional.

Love the ease of this product. It was SUPER simple to install, just screw it in. It was a little tricky to get the cord the right length to make sure the cover was snug to the ceiling, so a little patiences is required. The globe hangs a little crooked on the fixture as well, and the directions were not really specific to the model I bought. I think my crooked issues may have something to do with the collars that were included. Overall, a fabulous way to update a pot light! I do plan on buying another one for my hallway soon!

I saw a similar product featured in a magazine at a much higher cost. The product I purchased from Home Depot was very similar and much more economical.

This item cannot be hardwired. It has the base of a lightbulb where most lights would have wires. I don't recall seeing this in the description? Otherwise, a really nice light!

This pendant looks great and is super easy to install. I used it in my powder room, though it would work anywhere!

It was SO easy to install this light and to turn what was an old, dingy, useless recessed light into a bright, attractive light fixture.
