Customer Reviews for ENCORE AZALEA 1 Gal. Autumn Lily Shrub with Brilliant White and Purple Streaking Reblooming Flowers

After looking on Encore's website to find the perfect Azalea for my yard, this was (I believe) the only one that checked all the boxes. -Zone 6 -Reblooming -White Home Depot was the cheapest retailer that had it available online with free shipping. I ordered 8 and they arrived surprisingly fast and were all green & healthy upon arrival. Because we were still in the midst of our landscaping project, they stayed in their pots on my deck for a couple of weeks. They were finally planted in the ground on June 9th and by July 10th one had its first bloom. It's now the first week of August and all 8 are in full bloom and looking good. I usually water most of my plants with my hose setting on gentle shower, but for these Azaleas and my clematis vines I change the setting to mist because the flowers are somewhat delicate. (Unless watering at the very base, and not the leaves or flowers, then gentle shower setting should be fine) They are planted in one of the sunniest spots in my yard and because that spot also has landscaping rocks, is on a bit of a slope and drains almost too well, I water daily. I have included 3 photos with my review. The day the azalea was planted, the day it had its first flower, and today.

This was one of the azaleas that we used as a sidewalk border at our country home. It actually got separated from the others that I purchased and arrived a day or two later. It was packaged well and very healthy. I am looking forward to seeing it bloom in the future!

Nice healthy looking plant. Had a couple blossoms because I purchased in the summer. They were well packaged with no damage from shipping. Mine are doing very well considering I planted them in the summer. Be sure to prep the soil for acidic plant and water well the first few weeks.
