[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the tool to put the numbers on a mailbox and to create a hole for the post.

I found a way to break 11/2” of drill bit in 2” of steel. Looked at “rescue bits” and then saw this for $8 and on the shelf @ Home D, figured it was worth a try. It took some time but I was able to cut out the steel and the cobalt drill bit while still maintaining reasonable integrity of the hole. This is one sharp, tough little bit and it saved my butt. Turns the steel into a fine powder. Like any cutting burr it did occasionally do the “very rapid ring around the rosie” routine but that was probably more the limp wristed user than the bit. After all that cutting the bit is in the Dremel box ready for another challenge. Photo shows the hole nearing half depth that I had to grind out. I was impressed.

I had a rusted 3/4 bolt stuck that I had broken an ez-out hardened bolt extractor off flush with the surface trying to remove it. Drill bits would break or couldn't drill into the extractor. This bit on the dremel with some time cut through the hardened tool steel and remainder of the bolt. Amazed at how well it worked and help up to the hardened steel.

I used this round and clean some holes drilled in 1/4" and 3/8" aluminum bars (i got tired of stamped aluminum door handles braking - so i built the outside handle out of solid aluminum bars of different widths and thickness.

Used to remove broken extractor inside broken spark plug.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this out of necessity. So glad I did. With 7 doorknobs to install and no pre cutouts for the locking mechanism, the Dremel 200 made quick work on this project.

Two bits broke, none actually cuts ceramic tile as stated.

I bout this a few days ago for my son to make some custom pulling trucks for his 4H display, he was trying to cut a place in the hood for an engine to stick out, he got maybe 1/2 through the cut and the bit had no more cutting teeth on it.We had high hopes for it but it turned out to be a waste of money.

It just didn't take the material off the aluminum like i expected without really having to dig it in as my dremel continously staled out.

This works as designed all around pretty solid bit. Especially with the abuse i subject it to. I know it is advertised to do things more like trimming SS sink inserts and what not.Though, a hobby of mine is blacksmithing and metal work8ng. I have shaped a lot of relatively tough hard ferrous metals with this bit and its held up well. The only thing that could use some improvement is the price. Or a multipack thats cheaper. Different thicknesses would be ideal.

It was ok but could have lasted longer than it did on hardened steel

Worked as expected. Needed to shave ceramic tiles on a backsplash for the outlets. This bit and a Milwaukee m12 vacuum made short work of the project.

I bought this for the purpose of trimming my metal door locks and deadbolt strike plates. It worked well but be sure to take it slow and do not overheat the bit. I’ve done three door and it’s holding up well

This bit on a "Dremel" type rotary grinder was perfect for prepping a tight area for welding.
