I love this fridge. It is the perfect size for a bedroom and it is super quiet.

It broke after 3 weeks. We’re taking it in today to get a new one.

I purchased this mini fridge in March and it quit cooling by June. I called Avanti about the warranty and was told to cut and send the end of the cord back to the company along with the manufacturer sticker. I have USPS confirmation that the package was received at Avanti's correct address, but they keep telling me that they haven't received it yet. I forwarded the mail confirmation and also left a voicemail with a supervisor but have heard nothing back from the company. The few customer service representatives that I spoke with were rude and unhelpful. DO NOT BUY an Avanti refrigerator!

The product was damaged and did not work

It's not silent. It has a fan, but as other people have said, it's about the volume of a computer fan. I've hidden this thing in our cabinets and after I cut some ventilation holes, it works great. It keeps water *cold* so while it may have more temperature modulation than a traditional compressor fridge, it is far colder than many people have commented. There may be some lemons out there, but based on my experience, this fridge really can work well.

I think this refrigerator would have served our needs perfectly. But it arrived damaged, straight out of the manufacturer's box --> the refrigerator had a dent on the bottom, and some substance was also dried on the bottom. Be sure to inspect all sides thoroughly, upon receipt.

Does the job for what is made for. Does not have a compressor so not really made for opening a lot. However does cool really good for a lot of staple item that you use occasionally and doe a great job for fruits and veggies and drink.

Easy to change door opening. After that, install and use. Items inside are cold, not just cool.

This refrigerator's design is based on Superconductivity principle... Therefore, it could not reach colder temperatures below 20-30 F from the ambient Room Temperatures!!! This means that if your RT is 80F, this fridge temp. would be in the range of 50-60F... This was not acceptable to me... Therefore, I had to return the unit for full refund... Thank you

Works very well. Used in home bar for mixers and soft drinks. Temperature is consistent..

I got this fridge because the fridge in my apartment freezes anything that contacts the walls or shelves and I like my fruit and veggies fresh. The Avanti does not waste fridge space with a feeezer, so I can make use of all the space. It easily fits on the counter and under the cupboard. And with the reversable door, it's not limited to just one placement. It's doing a great job

I can not even give this product 1 star. Ordered one, received it, turned it on, it went down to 39 degrees. Went to bed, checked it in the morning, it was dead at 75 degrees. Turned it off and then on again. An hour later, it was a 40 degrees. 3 hours later, it was dead again. Went through it several times with same result. Returned it to Home Depot and got my money back. So, it does happen that you can get a bad one, I ordered it again. This time I turned it on, it was chortling along. An hour later, it was still at 75 degrees. That was 4 hours ago. Sounds like it is running, fans going, opened it up, still at 75 degrees. One bad one I accept, but not two. Back to Home Depot again. You can be sure I will not order another. By the way, it replaced an Avanti that worked for over 20 years. New technology, bad product. Or maybe just no QA.

The fridge never really got cold. Gave it a couple of days to see if it was going to work out but seemed like the compressor just wasn't getting it done. Had to return this one and tried a different model that is working out better. Must say also that the return policy is great!

I have had this fridge for about 2yrs now. It just now stopped cooling. Worked great for 2yrs. I love how quiet it is. I didn't really expect a peltier cooler to last as long as a freon cooled fridge. Of course I would have liked it to last longer, but for $115 I can handle replacing it every couple of years.

I purchased this refrigerator for my office. It did not function out of the box. Given the time and effort it would take to return or repair, I will be buying another small refrigerator elsewhere.

great fridge keeps everything cold. It froze my milk and one of my energy drinks.

Had an Avanti before that was at least 25 years old before it went out. I guess that the new stuff isn't work the money you pay for it;.

Fan started making a loud noise after ~3 months. At 5 months drinks barely cooler than room temperature with setting on maximum cold. Will return today.

This is a thermoelectric based unit so it cools slowly, but it reaches cold enough temperatures - close to freezing. The first cool down took about two hours with nothing inside. It is very lightweight and very quiet since it doesn't need a compressor. The fan makes almost no noise. It's a good dorm-room or office unit.

I like the fact that there is no bothersome little freezer to take up space. This fridge quickly cooled and keeps my beverages at a good temperature. I use it in my office for beverages and to store my lunch and snacks. The interior light is a nice touch, and the refrigerator is very light weight. It's also super quiet- quieter than my computer.

Perfect size. My husband easily assembled the mini refrigerator. Love the stainless door. Would like Avanti to consider an all over stainless model.

This very affordable little fridge fits perfectly under my desk. It is VERY quiet. Some of my co workers are getting these as well after seeing mine.
