The door handle just broke this morning after just one year. It's made of cheap plastic and you can clearly see the weak spots.

No power, it’s been sitting in a remodeled home till we could finish it for my daughter. When we surprised her with the beautiful home, the joke was on me, when she said the microwave doesn’t work!

We bought this microwave to replace a 15-year old GE that finally gave out. This model appeared to be an updated version of our old one, adding a turntable. We don't do any real cooking in it and didn't need anything fancy, and this model fit the bill. The only thing we don't like is that the timer beeper doesn't shut off until you press the Cancel button. Otherwise, it's quiet and plenty powerful for our everyday needs.

Just had this installed by Home Depot to replace a 5yr old GE that died. This model is the non-vented version of one that got a "Best Buy" rating on CR. We didn't want the sensors and other gadgets so this model fills the bill. We like the surface lighting better than our previous unit. The control panel is dark and harder to read. We think that GE should offer a 10yr magnetron warranty like other manufacturers as a $59 Walmart microwave has the same 1 yr warranty. We bought the 5yr Home Depot extended warranty just in case.

No words can explain how good this microwave... its super powerful And gets the job done.

Basic microwave, but it cannot be muted. Also it’s range fan is fairly weak.

Product worked fine until it inexplicably shorted out and broke after barely 3 years of use. My previous over the range microwave, by Magic Chef, lasted 15 years.

I would love to say it’s awsome, but can’t. Very few features, cheap construction, small interior. Most microwaves I have seen the glass plate is even with the bottom. This one is a 3/4 inch above the bottom. Making inside even smaller. No rack, touch panel doesn’t feel very sturdy. I will be hopeful it last as year. This was what my insurance paid for.

It came with our new house! Works perfectly! Would recommend to anyone!

This is my first over-the-range microwave. It works pretty well and I like the color (silver). My only complaint is the lighting is not very bright. When I'm working in the kitchen I have to put a couple other lights on to see what I'm doing. My old hood was so much brighter.....

These are installed overhead (above range). The steam from anyone cooking on the stove-top warps the microwave door horribly.

I got this new microwave to replace my old one and I didnt expect anything different. I discovered to my surprise that its more powerful than my previous. The vent feature is nice too.

1 year warranty, dead after 2 years. Pretty frustrating.

We purchased this microwave to go over our stove. It worked great for a couple of years and now it has already quit working. Its not even 5 years old yet! GE only supplies a 1 year warranty... that should have been a red flag

Just bought last week. I have owned 3 other GE similar Microwave ovens and do not like the way you changed the button locations and changing mounting dimensions made it very difficult to change out oven.

I love it. Its so nice and quite. I took off one star sense the popcorn button is hard to figure out.

This in my 2nd GE Micro. (I damaged 1st one, after 6 years, not GE's fault). I like this micro, similar to old one, but not as loud when running. The light on stove is nice & bright. I love the timer choice. ( the buttons are a little harder to push, but might be because I have RA in hands.)

Good solid microwave. This is the second GE microwave that I have owned and they are very solid working machine. I would consider getting another of these units.

It is large and knows all kinds of food, is perfect above the stove and extractor plus is fat, has light and very easy to handle. I'm in love with this microwave.

It fits the spot perfectly, looks great, however we are dissapponted in fuction. The recirculating fan is asthmatic but noisy. The oven itself burns the center of whatever we cook

Had all the features of previous GE microwave but works quieter and faster

I replaced an 20 yr old microwave and chose this one because the turntable can be turned off. The only problem is one of the light bulbs burnt out in less than 6 months.
