I purchased the 18' version, but the track came in four separate sections. This made it much more difficult to install. I expected one long track. In addition the hex self taping screws are made of cheap soft metal and do not work well. I broke four of them in half. I ended up having to go purchase some stronger screws that were Phillips head and "Made in America". The rubber seal went into the track smoothly, but definitely had to use some liquid soap to get it through the long 4-piece track.

I chose this double 'T' aluminum channel to replace my single slot flimsy bottom seal (see photo). I used a drill-press for making the holes. I clamped the channel to the door and installed the self-tapping screws. Trimmed the last channel to length and installed the vinyl insert. I did spray the entire channel length with WD. Definitely needed my wife to help align the seal as I pulled on the opposite end. I left 2" of seal exposed on each end and tucked it back into the opening.

The metal tracks were easy to install using a metal drill bit. The rubber seal also went on easy with the help of my 12 year old daughter. Overall, the product is what I expected. Provides a good seal and improves the look of my garage as I replaced an old foam seal that was falling apart.

This item worked well for my non-standard two-car tongue-groove style garage door. Please see attached photos. It covered up the groove nicely and the included hardware was long enough to grab into the groove.

In our case is simple to assembly and help us to avoid the entrance or some particles in our work area. We use it in some times and recommend it.

I was having a hard time finding the right size and price for this product but so glad I bought this one , it is perfect !

I used this in a different application than what it was designed for. I used it to seal up the gap in our dock plate. It works great! I had a gap of almost 1 inch and the wind would cool off the warehouse quickly. Since I installed the seal, it has made all the difference. We can now stand to work in the warehouse on cold windy days.

These were easy to install. Just use a little lubricant to help the rubber slide through the aluminum rails. The only thing I did not count on was that when water freezes under these the rubber has a tendency to stick to the ice and partially pulls out of the rail.

Easy to install but I would prefer 1 solid piece for the aluminum rail, It came in 4 pieces.

Was a little difficult to install on a 16 foot door but it gets the job done

It is a great substitute for the door people installing their $200.00 fix. Be careful of how old the package is because the first one I bought was old and the rubber had a set that would not allow it to feed in the slot. The solution was to buy a separate roll and return the defective(old) one.

Nice portable package. Won’t fit all doors. Check your door to ensure it has a center area that will accommodate getting screws installed.

Perfect fit. Couple of downsides were having to cut one of the sections of track, and when driving the screws in, it was a little rough getting the tracks to stay in place and lined up. .

This item was advertised as being one piece 18 feet long , not several items adding up to 18 feet long . Very disappointed. The reason I purchased this item was because it was advertised as being one piece 18 feet long . The package also arrived damaged and metal tracks were bent .

Installation was easy. Great product.

Worked perfectly as designed. No dirt, dust or leaves get into the garage. What a big difference! Really easy to install.

The profile of the vinyl did not match the profile of the aluminum and was impossible to slide. It was to tight a fit. I had to do the alternative of inserting one side and pressing the other side into the remaining groove. Modified a screwdriver to force the vinyl into the slot.
