I purchased this Hole Saw kit to install a Moen Shower Safety Bar. I needed to cut a 1 1/4" hole to install an anchor within the wall. This set is designed to cut thru tile, which it did fine. There's just ONE little item that didn't get shared when ordering the bit and hole saw....You need to spend another $26 to mount the bit to a drill!! Apparently you need to purchase a separate arbor bit set (Model# 49-56-7250) to thread the hole saw. Buyer Beware!!! $40 to cut a hole is a bit crazy.

No other hole saw I have ever used makes the hole, as accurate and as smooth as I want it to be. In the picture you may note the layers/levels of the leaves. With this Carbide Grit Hole Saws smooth and accurate holes sealing and gluing is now a "Snap!" A real time-saver-money-maker.

i did not understand that it was not a complete unit and something else needed to be bought before it could be used to drill a hole therefore i could not test it.

I bought this to drill five 2-inch holes through the brick on the outside of my house. I started out with the drill on a slow speed, and it was taking forever. By the end of the first hole I learned that hammer drill mode, max speed, and lots of water are necessary for a reasonably quick cut. Probably not good for the bit, the arbor, or the drill, but I've done three holes and it's working so far. Hopefully it will make it through two more. The carbide on the end of the bit feels dull, but it's still cutting. Sometimes it cuts faster running the drill in reverse. I'd probably buy the diamond bit next time if I have more than one hole to do.

Cut through ceramic tile like butter! Very impressed. Did not chip made a very clean hole.

Bit did exactly what it was supposed to do. Cut through brick wall like a champ.

Worked great for installing Moen corner shelf/grab bar. The great thing is the interchangeability with Lenox (was able to use Lenox arbor).

This was purchased for a Junior College shop class for completion of class project. While designed for tile, the aggressive grit works well for the Carbon/Epoxy composite panels the students fabricate to learn aerospace technician skills. Great product, speedy delivery, great service.

It did an excellent job of drilling through brick.

Drill a 1 !/4 hole in 4" of cement .Had to keep adding water. Took one hour + hole saw still good enough to do another hole if I need to

Cut through bathroom tile like butter. Still looks good after two holes.

Did not cut thru 1st tile.

After drilling 1/4 inch the bit was so dull that it wouldn’t go any further. Very poor quality and performance.

It cut through 3" of pool concrete deck easily.

Worked like a charm to cut holes through tile and green board to install grab bars in a shower. Be sure to use a punch to divot the tile first so the bit doesn’t slide.

Absolute let down, Not much more I can say about this product it didn’t do what it was supposed to do

Great quality product.

Have used these hole saws in various sizes and they work great.I don't know if they are designed to run in hammer drills or not, but that is how I use them.Run it somewhat slow and they do wonders.
