Great product for security and looks.

Had a door that had to be forced open which weakened the the door at the latch/striker area. We installed this item for the time being until a new door is ordered and it works great. It hides the damage and keeps the area stiffened.

needed to find a replacement as the old one was a gold color.

I don't know why you don't stock this item.....This size is the size needed on a standard exterior door

The product fits and works fine. Your web site description of the item was incorrect. However, I purchased the item Aanyway because of the photograph. It’s stainless steel finish, not a brass finish. You’d do yourself a favor and have less returns if your item descriptions were more accurate.

I have searched the web for a stainless steel door reinforcer that adapts to commercially installed door handles that are set back 2 3/4 inches. This is the only product coming close to meeting such a need that I was able to locate on the web. However, it would be more cosmetically acceptable if the darn thing was taller and wider to better cover marks on the door that remain from replacing commercial handles.. This device allows for replacement of commercially installed handles however the retail handles that are available are smaller in size, hence a result of showing markings on the door itself and the need for larger reinforcement plates such as this. It is a great product, just a little too small in overall size. But, it can safe you hundreds of dollars verses hiring a commercial company that alone are authorized to order the replacement parts from the company.

This door reinforce is not only a security upgrade, it makes the door look better too. It matches the brushed nickel doorknobs perfectly. A very good value, low price, good looks.
