This line came well packaged, which made it easier to work with. This was important, because my use was both functional and decorative; I had to "weave" long lengths of it to create a safe railing and retainer in a treehouse that's 14' above the ground. The order came in right on time, as I had to finish this project before my daughter's graduation party. Home Depot made it easy to order online, and their email notification let me know when I could get to work! The finished product looks great, and we look forward to enjoying the treehouse for years to come!

The back half of my yard is the side of a ravine. We've got transverse walking paths so that my wife can tend the hillside in a "natural" mode. It's quite steep in some places and to make it safe for her I put in some posts and strung this rope between them. I ended up using almost all 100 ft of the rope. Besides the safety aspect, this manilla rope (along with the wooden posts) is so natural-looking compared to any other method. I believe this will hold true even when Winter arrives and all the leaves are down. If not, it's very easy to remove the rope and store it until Spring. We'll see ...

I was looking for an alternative to wooden ballisters for a deck railing. The one inch rope fit the bill perfectly and has gotten numerous positive comments from the neighbors. Our camper is parked by a 30 acre pond and I wanted to go with a nautical theme and used 3 evenly spaced horizontal ropes thru 1 1/4" holes drilled thru the railing posts. My only advice would be to soak the rope and let it dry before installing it as is will shrink quite a bit the first time it's rained on. For that reason I couldn't give the product an excellent rating. Other than that I'm extremely happy with the outcome of the project. I'm contemplating where to use the remaining 55' of rope I have left.

I used this rope to wrap the lower 2+ feet of 6 poles that had major sun exposure. I then stained it to match the log poles. Great simple solution to both improve the look and solve a potentially bigger problem. Plus it will be simple to refresh if necessary.

This says it is a decorating rope and it has a lime green stripe running through it ordered several boxes for a project and every one had the stripe it does not show it on the pictures.

You can tie up so many things with 600 feet of rope it's unbelievable

I use the rope to tie trees to my tractor and have someone pull while I cut. Rope is very strong.

I purchased this rope to make a cat tower, and this is how I'm writing my review. This rope came and has the most outrageous chemical smell. It smells like it was dipped in bug spray. I bought this to make a giant cat tower (1/2 x 600 ft) and I'm scared it will harm my cats. It stated this was natural rope, but there is an unbearable odor of chemicals that comes from it. My whole garage smells like chemicals from this rope. The rope seems strong, but do not use around animals.

I love this Manila rope but I was one role short and when I went to order more two day after I reserved the rope from Home Depot they had discontinued this product. Now I can't match the rope anywhere else. This is bad because I'm using it as baseboard. I'm very upset with Home Depot.

Bought 100' of 1" diameter rope for wrapping a support post in my basement. Worked very well and looked great!

WHEN I RECEIVED MY ORDER, THE PACKAGING WAS DAMAGED BADLY BUT THE PRODUCT WAS OK. IT WAS WHAT I ORDERED AND I WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE MY PROJECT

We used the rope to wrap upper deck posts on our floating home. It was packaged nicely which made handling easy and the results were excellent.

The rope came quicker than expected and the Pell City store was super to help by phone. jk

I think the roll contained less than 100 feet. I measured the porch for a double rail made from 1 inch manila rope. Should have done the deck area and the side railings. It just did t he deck area and I only had 3 feet left over. it would have taken at least 16 feet to do the side railings.

I received this in just a few days after the online purchase. The rope was in excellent shape and looked good too.

This is by far the cheapest way to purchase this size rope. I have purchased this rope in the store before as well, but in the store you pay more and they only carry 75ft spools of 1".

I couldn't find this rope in any of the stores, but someone finally mentioned that I could get it online, shipped to my home for free! I wish someone in one of the stores had mentioned this earlier - but at least someone finally did! It arrived quickly, in great shape, and was just what we needed for going post-to-post as a handraid for a path to the lake. We couldn't be more pleased!
