They pop apart and flood your garden. Have to dig up hundreds of dollars of work to replace.

use anything else. These WILL fail. All of them. They come apart at the ends and waste water, make a mess, and require you to dig EVERY one of them up and replace them with something else. All the other reviews saying the same are true. The others I assume were either paid or they havent used the product at all or long enough for it to fail. They are expensive, dont work, and cause more work in the end. Why not charge a dollar or two more and make something worth selling?

End blew off after 3 years. 18" riser. Retainer just press fits into vinyl tube. Nothing prevents it from popping out. Retainer should have a barb. "Thank you for the feedback. " - sure you can send out a crew to locate and dig up the rest of the pipes before they blow. How about fixing the product? Max is 100psi - I'm lucky to get 35psi.

After several months underground, the vinyl hose loosens around its connector and easily slips off, requiring dig up. The vinyl hose also kinks easily, reducing or stopping water flow. This item is unsuitable for its intended use, but it looks good when new, and there is no warranty.

Product leaked as soon as water was turned on, all connections tight. Home Depot should be ashamed selling such a flawed piece of junk!!! Proudly made in China.

Installation of 1 hose leaked badly and caused wasted time and money, The other is working, at least no soil welling up with water.

Just what I needed. I actually just use this to screw in and turn the water on to clear the line of dirt, and then off, and replace with sprinkler head. This way the hole doesn't fill with water and drain dirt back into the pipe.

We had to move a sprinkler head & this extention is perfect for the job.

Unfortunately the other reviews that revealed the problem were written after my installation (2019). Mine failed in early 2023 , so they lasted about 4 years. Luckily I only used 3 of these on my 20 sprinkler heads. Nothing like digging up faulty risers in Texas summer.

I have had about 5 of these just have their nuts on the end pop off... out of maybe 14 heads. I am going to need to replace all of them. SO much digging. Ugh.

The plastic connection broke and it leaked at installation. Could not fix it, then it broke away from tubing. I ended up cutting off the broken end and just using it as a drainage tube. Waste of money.

Worked perfectly for an inground sprinkler repair. I conducted recently. I would buy again we needed.

Absolutely garbage product. Failed during initial pressure test. The inner tubing is not attached with a barb and is not clamped in any way. The most this can handle is about 30PSI even though it's rated to 100psi allegedly. Just gonna have to buy elbows and do it the old fashioned way.

Installed as a sprinkler riser. First one failed after a week. Tried a second one and it failed after 2 watering cycles. Comes apart at the press fitting as other reviews state. Junk. Do not use these.

These are garbage. I bought 4 and 2 of them failed on me in span of few hours. Both failed the same way, the pressure fitting is a joke. DO NOT BUY, or your back yard will flood.

At first, I thought these were great... I was converting very outdated brass heads to rotary nozzles which require a taller body to accomodate the new rotary heads. I bought these I could place the taller bodies deeper into the ground as they were too tall when attached to the risers and I have a very mature yard where I can't bury the water pipes any deeper in the ground. For the first year, everything was great. However, after a year or two, the hoses separate from their connecors and cause massive leaking and sometimes little to no water coming out of the head. The connections are internal and cannot be restored or corrected, so they have to be replaced. If you want to keep digging the same heads up, year after year, to replace the hoses, then these will work fine for you. However, if you want a more permanent solution, I suggest using Rainbird 1/2" Swing Pipe, the correct elbow/inserts and band clamps. I started replacing these blue extensions with stronger homemade versions and have not had to replace any in several years now.

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought and installed these. Just like everyone else, I have now had to dig up my sprinkler system and replace these with the regular PVC risers because the joint failed and began leaking. Seriously, do not buy these, they are horrible.

Unfortunately, this flexible riser will not work under significant pressure and the connection will separate after any significant use. If you have low pressure, they might work. I spent last weekend digging up and replacing my sprinkler heads with these and I will spend this weekend digging them up and replacing them with regular pvc fittings. The manufacturer should provide a limitation on the product for a pressure rating - but then again, that probably would have prevented me from buying them. There is a reason that they come with no warranty.

These work great when you need the flexibility to move a sprinkler head but they do pinch easy restricting water flow so you have to be very careful when backfilling dirt around the head. I also had a few of the plastic hoses disconnect from the threaded end, so I would ha e extras of these on hand.

Seems like a great idea until a bunch of them (about 1 in 5) blow out because the clamp is weak. I get that they can’t or shouldn’t hold under a lot of extra pressure but considering most water supply is at 100ish they should have been engineered to 150.
