Hi Greg, my name is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear this vacuum breaker has caused your rain head to pulsate. We would suggest checking your water pressure to ensure it is not above 80 PSI. There could also be debris in the line or valve interrupting the flow. This is more commonly seen if this was a remodel or new build. We would suggest flushing the lines to eliminate this concern. Hello, my name is Sarah with KOHLER Co. I am sorry to hear your Vacuum Breaker is restricting the flow and producing a whistling sound. This is not normal. We would suggest soaking the restrictor in a solution of 50% water and 50% white vinegar incase there was debris that went through your water lines.
